Exactly what I’ve been thinking. Even if it wasn’t directly Exo-Force II or whatever, a new theme dedicated solely to mechs with a good guy and bad guy faction would go crazy
I have this at home. It is a bit too big to build something for it, sadly.
If I remember correctly they aired this on nickelodeon broken up into 5 pieces. Despite the very short run time they still managed to make each piece re-use a huge amount of footage from the other ones.

Very nostalgic and all, but I’m sorry they reused the same shots 3 times. This really was made on a tight budget.
That's one small Exo-Force set, I like it :D I mean, don't get me wrong, I do love the regular Battle Machines, it's just I usually thought the polybag sets like that Red Walker were pretty unique imo.

That's because the ninja turtles are classic examples of the four main personality archetypes: sanguine, choleric, melancholic and phlegmatic. Not surprising that those archetypes show up in other groups of four.

It's expanded more as the story goes along, the old man is basically Tony Stark and made a self-aware ai using the tech of a very old, very advanced city he discovered. Of course, said ai got a bit goofy and started a revolution.
In the web comic, they did not malfunction. Instead, Meca One decided under his own free will that robots were superior to humans.

That could be a reasonable explanation. Another thing to point out is that there is absolutely no evidence that Meca One or any of his fellow robots have been mistreated during their time serving the humans. His only stated reason for rebelling is because he believed robots to be superior to humans.

Awesome :D Probably my favorite Battle Machines from the human side in Exo-Force are Gate Defender and Uplink and for the evil Robots? I think the ones from the Golden City which are Iron Condor and Claw Crusher which was usually the only set I had lol.
