Fully 3D printed Deadpool Helmet (NO SANDING!!)
Heres a video showing how I made a fully 3D printed Deadpool helmet with zero sanding. No bondo, no primer, no sanding, nada! This file is amazing, with magnets and easy assembly, AND it has textured eyes which makes for such an amazing finish. This video will show you how I oriented the helmet through Cura, all the way to post production. Since I first laid eyes on the first issue of Spiderman 2099 back when I was a little lad, I was hooked! His mask was so unique and I loved the color scheme. Now that we have access to 3D printers, I had to make this become a reality, so I can finally hang this on my helmet wall. This file is a must have, the textured quality is amazing and prints with ease. I pushed my Ender 3 Pro to its limit...

Id say it looks more like tarnished brass or some sort of rust. Still cool tho
I purchased these files, along with the Lady Dead Pool from Do3D and they will not load in Bambu slicer. Buyer beware. If you have any issues, the company will not help you at all. And you are at risk of paying for files that will not load. I have no issues printing any other files on my X1C, but these files won't load siting the error, "The file contains no geometry data."

This was very useful. I don't suppose you would share your support settings? I think your reply to another comment suggested "default" but imagine someone had changed so many things they no longer knew what those were anymore! Support removal is by far the hardest thing in making helmets for me.

How did you get the leather texture?
They come with the file
What are the print settings for the file I cant seem to get it to work (for kobra)
@@Omqduke1212 used a simple profile, .2mm sized nozzle, tree supports with raft margin of 2%. Not a whole lot of tweaks. Also used a wall thickness of 1.4

BROOOOOOOOO THE QUALITY! You have to teach me how to get to that level of impression with the ender 3 pro!
@@andresitomg thanks man I appreciate that, all I did for the eyes to come out that smooth was simply use the ‘Fine’ profile in Cura slicer. Tweaked some small things like trees supports and put a 1.4 Wall thickness. Not a whole lot of a change

Unbelievable what quality you can achieve with the ender 3 pro. Mine looks really bad. How did you get it to have that nice of a quality?
@@AbrakadaBaris just dialed it in over the years, but a lot of the work comes from the settings within your slicer. I upgraded to the newest version of Cura, and my results are coming out fantastic!

What setting do you use. If you don't mind me asking?
@@filemoncarrasco9516 I use a .2 layer height and 8% infill for all my helmets. If I’m printing smaller prices, I use a .12 layer height in Cura slicer for a more detailed look.
