Thank you! The mirror ball was new for me this year. My brightest lights were behind the ball, but I found if I added a smaller light to the audience side it made the ball look brighter even though the reflections were mainly behind the ball.

The 3 Large Moving Heads are 230 Watt Beam 7R. They are sold as many different brands.
Amazing, I agree witb all the other commenters! Well done. Aa a fellow pyromusical lover, how did you manage to get such clear videos of the sky? I can never stay in focus and its currently my biggest challenge. Also your lights, lovely! Do you stage the DMX show manually, or do you happen to be use any of the AI driven controllers? I am having a tough time having all the light features i want in my show and fit it in a 512 channel universe.
The video are just done using newer iPhones. I place 1 pretty close to the fireworks on wide angle mode. It seems the closer you are to the firework launch site, the better the video. My dmx is done manually. I start with the soundtrack and use some beat detection to create on and off points. Then I just decide what look I'm trying to achieve. I'm only using about 300 of my 512 channel universe. I try and keep each fixture to 24 channels or less, even though they are capable of more.

Beautiful job again this year! Really liked the added disco ball. Was that just a motor driven ball with light shining on it or full DMX control?
Thanks! It was a 16" mirrored disco ball powered by a 1 revolution per minute motor. I turned the motor on at the start and just used my beam lights to reflect on it. The ball is spinning the whole show just not reflecting until the lights go to that assigned coordinate. It turned out even better then I expected.

I have my license and put on a huge backyard 1.3g show every year, but I’m trying to incorporate more of the lights, video, flame, etc. You give me lots of good ideas and inspiration. twinkly.com/en-us/products/c9-lights-rgb-bulbs?variant=47127594893654 It has a built in controller that you can program using your phone camera. You can also use a workaround to get Twinkly to work with xlights

Another fan and great show! Looking to up my game even more next year and been reading for the past few days after reading you use Light O Rama. Does Light O Rama take in Time Code/SMPTE? How did you get everything to time so nicely? I see you said below you had to start everything at the sametime ... so not sure this will work with Cobra and starting 2 computers at the sametime one for Cobra and the other with the Light O Rama. Thank you

Wow. Amazing show. What video software are you using to make your videos and timing of your projector/shows.
First I create the audio track and use that for the timing of all the screen and fireworks. I inset the audio track into the video editing program Powerdirector. I then create my projections there. Then it's just a matter of starting them all at the same time, and everything runs in sync.

I use Light O Rama with their dmx controller to script the lights. Light O Rama allows you to have a video feed as well, so I use that for music and projections. The lights and flames are all just dmx devices bought from ebay and amazon. The fireworks run off of firefly hardware with an ipad controlling the firework ques.
Great show again this year! You have the best use of DMX on any backyard show. I will be trying to add DMX to my show next year. I added it to my cobra system and will probably start with 5 flame machines and 10 par lights. Do you like the Par lights, Light Bars, or moving heads more for firework show use? Figured I would try the Par lights first for simplicity sake. Love the funny tid bits and personalized video. Great job!
The par lights are the simplest to learn and east to script. I have 8 of them, and they fill a pretty large space. The light bars are my second favorite, but the leaning curve for different effects is greater. The spot lights really need a lot of smoke to show up well. This year the smoke was blowing away from the lights, so the spots and lasers are harder to see. The pars I have aimed down into the grass and show up no matter the wind condition.

Did you use DMX woth your flame machines? How hard was it to program the lights with the DMX? I'm just now getting to this level. Have 5 Fireflys and looking to expand into lights and flames
On this show I used dmx through my light o rama controller to control the lights and flames. In 2021 I was using a simple 16 channel light o rama to control the show. I start the show by running the light o rama sequence and starting the firefly script by hand at a pre determined time. Everything runs in sync at this point.
On the lor are you just running the software from a laptop to all the lights and flames or are you actually using a lor controller I just bought all the lights and flames. Thank you sir
@@angelcontreras1581 I run the software to a 16 channel lor controller. Using the network out from that controller I plug in the lor iDMX-1000 dmx controller. I would assume if I plugged the iDMX1000 into the computer, I may be able to bypass the need for a 16 channel controller.

Incredible use of lighting and video with your firework show. I am looking at moving into using DMX lights/flame machines going forward within the Cobra system and am trying to chose out of the many light options. I see you have spyder lights, LED pars, flame machines, couple moving heads, and 3 vertical lights at least. Are you happy with all of them? Can you provide links to the pars, moving heads, and vertical lights you used?
