Hey John, great video, loved your honesty, everything you said really struck a chord with me. I’m glad you found this great opportunity and are now living your best life, it’s really inspiring. Keep the videos coming and all the best for what’s ahead.

What I'm curious about is why, when your online digital sales business is going so well and has solved your issue regarding future income, do you need to put any additional effort into bringing others into it? Usually when people latch onto a great business idea, the last thing they are thinking about is encouraging others, who are potential competitors, to do the same thing. Could it be that the main purpose of the business plan, which generates the real income, is to sell the training course? I also see a lot of pop-up video commercials on UA-cam by people like Greg Secker who is promoting FX Trading from home as a route to considerable wealth, or Paul Smith ("Touchstone Education") who promotes something similar through investment in comercial property, and in both cases once you cut through to the bottom line, they are selling expensive training courses and software packages. I've even seen reviews from people who went along to their "free" seminars and were subjected to some pretty aggressive sales techniques by agents (but not Secker or Smith themselves, whom they never actually got to meet.) The whole thing sounded rather reminiscent of those infamous timeshare sales conventions of the 1980s. It does seem to me that the latest batch of get-rich-quick schemes all share a common thread, which is that the money is made not from trading itself, but from selling the training courses and materials to others.

I knew someone like this once, who invited a group of friends (me included) to a mysterious meeting that was going to revolutionalise our lives, but without giving away too much; just enough to intrigue us. Even the meeting itself was just a step up on selling the dream, still without going into detail about how the "business opportunity" worked. For those of us who were still intrigued, more group and one-to-one meetings followed, and it gradually became clearer. To cut a long story short, Pyramid Selling, or Multi Level Marketing (MLM) to use the more respectable name it gave itself, works like this: when you sign up, you are expected to make a financial commitment of some sort, which is the glue that holds you in beyond the point where you might simply walk away with nothing lost. Yes, you will be supported in setting up an online sales business, but that is about 5% of the plan. Millions of people have online sales businesses and many of them do OK with it, but that is not what we are talking about here. The other 95% of this plan is all about you doing exactly what John is doing here, i.e. recruiting others into the plan. You will be coached and supplied with materials etc (at your own expense) to assist you in that endeavour, just as John was by the person who recruited him; and if you succeed in recruiting anyone yourself, you will be pushing the recruitment side of it on them, and so on, ad infinitum. John gets a percentage of not only every sale you make, but every sale your recruits make, and theirs, and theirs etc. You get a percentage of every sale your recruits make, and their recruits etc. Your recruits get a piece of every sale their recruits make and so on. Someone at the top of the tree is getting a piece of every sale John makes, but more importantly every sale that his recruits, and theirs, and theirs etc, make. If that still sounds attractive, don't underestimate how difficult it is to get someone else on the hook, and you have to not only do that, but do it multiple times, and have them do the same etc, for this model to work. But even recruitment is only half the story; actually keeping recruits on the hook is an ongoing process because of the element of disillusionment and high drop-out rate. It's like trying to fill a leaking bucket.The mediterranean paradise etc, the backdrop to these videos, is just another prop to get you interested, and to believe that you can have the same; you have no way of knowing if any of it is genuine. In theory it might be possible to make this work, and there may even be a few people at the top of the tree who are doing well out of it, but the vast majority drop out in disillusionment, a loss of the time and money they invested in it, and in the worst case, loss of relationships with their family and friends whom they were encouraged to try to bring on board. And that includes the guy who invited us to that meeting years ago. Sorry John, this is nothing personal, I know you're just trying to make this work, but viewers deserve to know the reality behind this.
