Thank you for showing this snow plow set up on what looks like an older era of reliable MACK 😊 is this to clean OFF front of house ramps or behind stations in big approach areas to stations. Has this rig ever run in front of responding rig to clear snowy roads on way to calls.

with this little snow it shouldn't be necessary that the FD steps into the game plowing snow. Also the stations of the FDNY don't have large front or backyards where I'd see the need for a snowplow for their own needs

I am recognizing the zones as we called them. I was there on the 12 th, went on grounds the 13 th as it started to rain. Found airline pieces and the east river with a slight front coming through sent the fumes of the unburned jet fuel in the basin up so I cleared my area. One thing is all the co2 sensors that survived the collapse were still active in the ruins. A lot of amazing people that pushed through a lot of sad to get that done. I won’t ever forget.

LOL if the workers had hit the fryer and stack with an extinguisher! I actually had this exact thing happen 45 years ago and had it totally knocked down before fire got there.

I wasn't bornt when It happened, I am a 2005 guy. My father who visited them, I reckon it was 2 weeks ago it, he had some friends that visited it that day and are among the dead.. I in the other hand, I saw a documental when I was 7, my father told me I should. I kinda fear planes and skycrapers now. Those who are up there may rest in peace greatly, god be with them

I volunteered for 5 months at Ground Zero when I was 20 years old, and there hasn’t been a single day in my life that I don’t remember the horrors I witnessed in that place. I recall, during the first weeks, how the victims’ families would approach us with a photo, asking if we had found their loved one, and having to tell them ‘no’ was overwhelming.
