I just remember being in 9th grade in high school and looking up to Nick as such an inspiration. I was going through a really difficult time and I couldn't use skateboarding as an escape because I broke my heel. Looking at what he was going through and how he battled it really kept me afloat then. Despite quitting skateboarding not too long after that, I am grateful of what Nick and Steve Staffin have done through their videos. Can't believe that was so long ago, and now I'm a Junior in college. I really wish the best for you Nick, god bless.
