Fun fact, Peter Sallis originally voiced Wallace for just £50 and it took Nick Park so long to finish A Grand Day Out, Peter had to be reminded that he'd done it. He really had no idea what he was a part of and just how big it would get.

Peter's favourite part is mine too. I love trains too as well as Wallace and Gromit.

Even when Peter Sallis isn't playing Wallace, his voice is unmistakable. I would watch reruns of a show he was in called Last of the Summer Wine which I watch on a PBS channel I get here in the United States (I'm American before any of you ask), and I recognize Peter Sallis when he plays Cleggy.
