You are so organized and don’t ramble!!! Thank you for your well thought out videos!
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you so much ❤
This was incredibly helpful. I love how you broke it down to the sum and substance of the that particular law in a statement: “think of it as…”., then when you expanded on it, it was so much simpler to process it practically. I will be watching more videos…right now 😂! Thank you!
Super glad it was helpful!

If there is an interactive piece, I'm not seeing that here.

I have an HRBP interview this week, these videos have been very informative. Wish me luck
💙💚💚🧡💛🙏🏾
We are generally not given autonomy to take decisions so cannot answer some of these questions since i work in a large organisations and decision making is limited. Its a top down approach
This was very helpful and covered well.
Glad it was helpful! Happy studying 📚
thank you, it was pretty helpful
can you show the policy
Love this!
Are you able to elaborate on Classification and Compensation?
Adapt or die for business.
Gorgeous and knowledgeable 🙏🏾
Really Great point.
Well said, Cari. Thank you for the content. I will subscribe to your channel.
What is Tezla ?😂
😂😂 Blame my southern twang!
I am both SHRM-SCP and SPHRi certified🫶🫶
Hey, thanks for your Video. Maybe a stupid question but regarding Question 1 (successfully aligned HR initiatives with Business objectives): In my mind, all HR initiatives should always support business objectives. Otherwise your work doesnt macht the customers needs. Some initiatives got a higher "matching score" and have direct impact and some initatives got lower impact. Or am i wrong?!
Can you please make a video on the pilot program
I just found this series. Your explanation and guidance on how to apply the STAR method on the receiving end of the interview is really insightful, thank you❤
Very welcome!
You are amazing! Thank you 🙏🏾
wow you speak so beautifully!
Disney was not acquired by Pixar. Disney purchased Pixar. Bob Igor was from Disney. And the acquired Pixar, were merged into Disney culture.
You are correct! Thanks for catching that! The high-level point was tapping into the appropriate leadership style and in this case after the acquisition, the affiliative style was best suited.
@@HRDefined Absolutely, leadership is very important in any organization. Many companies do not have good leadership due to poor promotion choices and poor skill understanding for what the organization needs in order to move forward. It is interesting to see that, in some cases, Disney is tamping down the culture and success of the organizations that they acquired. Star Wars being one of them(Marvel is another). The pursuit of diversity over story content is destroying the audience, and Disney complaining that the viewers are only upset because of diversity, is an illusion. I hope that they can go back to good story writing, and creating good characters to be filled by the people that they want to fill those roles.. Keep up the good work. Your analysis Disney(bob) absorbing Pixar and integrating it well is correct.
Now can you answer why Tesla's cars spark too?
These videos are super informative! TY!
Thank you for this great video. The practice exam link says the page is no longer available . Can you please relink?
Yes, we will get it updated!
I only clicked because she’s hot 😂😂😂
Hey CARI, Can you please suggest what's the best certificate for being HRBP?
There is not a specific certification for being an HRBP. Often times, the best way to move into this role is through experience. You can start as a generalist and work your way into the role. Remember, your career is a marathon, not s sprint so make a plan and work it.
@@HRDefined Thank you so much for your suggestions and thanks for such a helpful content videos. 🙏
Excellent breakdown of these different strategies. Thank you
Always looking forward to your videos. Keep up the good work
Thanks for tuning in!
Thank you so much for creating this content. I has not only empowered me to tell my own HR story during my interview but as increased my confidence during interviews. What was most helpful was the tip about having a strategic and operational version of my resume for maximum versatily.
The only thing that I question is the being qualified part. That's actually one of the biggest obstacles that women face is not applying for positions because they feel that they aren't qualified. I say go for the role. 70% qualified, apply for the job, however, you should also have a plan in place for how you plan to learn the skills that you lack which can be explained to a potential employer. The inability to train would also be kind of a red flag for me. Should they have to train you in all aspects of the job? No, but training is part of development which is an essential part of leadership. Companies are having difficulties filling some roles because of the mindset of "I don't have time to train." Succession planning, growth and development, and opportunities to learn are all at the top of a large part of the workforce today. It's time to shift the focus.
Great perspective. Also agree with the 70% qualified. Sometimes the remainder will be specific to the organization and there is also some variation. The inability to train is not necessarily a red flag to me. Sometimes the employer need what they need and knowing that up front is a plus. Its alot better than getting to the job, learning that they cant and then struggling. Also agree with you... ideally, the focus would shift and the hope is that there are some good hr folks advising them to do so. Sadly, that's not always the reality.
Can you please assist with an entry level HRBP role?
Thanks for creating wonderful content,Can you share insights on how we can aim for higher roles than HR Manager and what are the job responsibilities aligned to that? Interview preparation tips will be appreciated.
holy yappachinp
You are so helpful!
Didn't hear a word you said but 💋
Amazing insights! This is my goal one day to become one, thanks!

I lost my job few months back. The feeling you described in the video resonate with me. Coming up to 5 months of not working, self reflecting, accepting and processing the feeling, I am making progress to functioning again as well as back to job searching. Loss is hard, and thank you for sharing.
Loss is hard 😢
I went from being nervous about my interview to gaining confidence with the series. Watched all 3 💃🏾
