Everyone knows or understands God theorotically as per ones own perception or understanding. But, few achieve or understand him practically. Siddhars were in those few who achieved, understood him practically through spiritual practices.

Aatma(Self/Soul) is Brahman(God). When one realises himself(Aatmagyan), he is one with God, as per the scriptures.

'God' actually means Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma is different from Brahman, so be very careful how you use that word. The English adopted that word through German, which adopted it from Sanskrit. It would be better if someone speaking in a Dharmic context uses the words Bhagwan or Eashwar or Brahman or Matarani, whichever they prefer. Because for the Semitic religions, 'God' means a screaming, shouting insecure guy who is jealous of anyone else termed 'God', though he claims to have created them all. That's why this term 'God' means different things to different people. People who want to explain the Dharmic religions would do well to steer clear of this word which means a totally different thing in English. Don't use the English word if you want to make your meaning clear. I am censored on yt from speaking any more about this, so I have compiled a playlist called God Real Meaning to say what I am forbidden from explaining.

@@extemporaneous4545 in this context it is not lord Brahma, but Brahman. We have to write Brahman in English to differentiate from Lord Brahma. The Brahman I'm talking about is from the Upanishads, "Brahm Satya Jagat Mithya", "Ayamatma Brahm", "Aham Brahmasi" and "Pragyanam Brahm"...

@@ElloEveryone Exactly. That's what I'm saying. I gave you the etymology of the English word 'God' and it refers to Hindu worship of Lord Brahma from ancient India, not to Brahman the Unknowable which we know to be ourselves, but which would be a blasphemous concept in Christianity from which these present day Hindus have got the word 'God' and are throwing it around. Again, I refer you to my playlist God Real Meaning, especially the first two videos,because I'm unable to speak about this on yt or my comment won't post.

That's what I love about the Vedic traditions and saints in India. They just do their Dharma and love people to the best of their ability. I wish the churches in the West would start accepting this way of life.
