Real life image is better than the video, it all depends if sensor is refreshed recently and if you are in focus with objective. Overall you can clearly differentiate is it male or female up to 100 yards

@Mattias Johansson yes I had chance to actually use one and it has better recognition of antlers but pulsar has better overall build and software quality. New infiray th50 is brutal, had also chance to use it and is even better than thermion 2 xp50

As I said in previous comment rules I need to apply but not only that. Lot of time I just observe how many and what type of pigs are in herd and how they behave. Amount of pigs I see through year is several hundreds and only shoot 5-10 and on top of that I am not trigger happy. I don't know if you are from US but I presume you are because of name so you need to understand that we in Europe have different view on hunting pigs because they are not considered pest here and you can't just start blasting whenever you see one.

In my country we have rules and regulations what to harvest (tags) so you need to be careful what you shoot and how many.

Hi Chad, You will be more than happy with xq38 model. I had chance to use xp50 and new xp50 thermion 2 and to me it can't justify the price difference. I usually shoot from 50 to 150m and xq is more than enough even on greater distances. I am not saying that xp50 is not better scope it sure is but I am not that rich to just buy the best I have to look for optimal solution. Hope that helps

Standard blaser mount with 30mm rings and 17mm space. Thermion on bottom side it's not flat and with the lowest rings it's not possible to properly install it

Marko mislim da nema trenutno od pulsara nista ni kod nas.... nestasica u cijeloj EU i USA Da se naci infiray ili guide ali od pulsara cim se nesto pojavi u ducanima brzo ode. Inace cijene su kao i u drugim zemljama EU i okolice nema tu neke razlike.

Hi, From infiray i only tried ch50 that is clip on unit and it is really good but i prefer pulsar thermion overall because it looks awesome more like riflescope than electronic device. Not that it's important but something that to my eye is more pleasing. Most important thing for me is quick startup and it's around 2sec because I use monocular for scanning. Image quality is similar or better to all other devices in that sensor range. Hope that helps
