AlloyWorks, did you ever find a 1/2" x 3/8" inverted flare fitting? If so let me know where I can purchase it because i'm in the same situation. I bought the same radiator but its a 4 row for my 06 Ford Explorer 4.0 v6.

If "stop leak" is something that you fill in the cooling system it will clog the heat exchanger and valves for cabbin and if present the water/oil heat exchanger, water pump, thermostat... Sometimes thermostats and water pumps are electric. You don't want it in there. Instead you should replace the leaking part right away.

Curious if you had clearance issues later. I made a similar conversion and there was enough engine movement with the mount to move almost 3/4 of an inch forward. My choice to make sure i had clearance was to move the pads on the radiator to actually mount to the shroud. That tilted the radiator forward enough to give me clearance from the pulley. I also rotated that one fan so that the wiring boss was on the other side. It’s only two screws. To ensure the motor didn’t lurch forward when I stepped on a gas I shoved a piece of fuel hose in that passenger side mount to give it less movement. I’m hoping that will prevent the engine from moving too far forward. Thanks for the tips on the sensor/switch. This is the problem. I am currently trying to solve. I tapped into the existing electric fan control, but that is running off of radiator temperature not engine temperature. I’d prefer to have it off your location.

Did you run into any problems of any other radiator not being tall enough?

I'm not impressed. I purchased one. It did not leak. But the core itself was under sized. It did come close to the measurements on there website. And the core was way thinner then oem. I took this radiator out and installed a new oem one. I actually just end up recycling this all aluminum radiator. So becarful when purchasing this brand

I need to know what thread pitch the petcock and adapter are. I need a 3/8 npt fitting so i can run my fan temp switch please.

My was damaged box total 101.10 . Brand new 4core aluminum aluminum e Fan shroud with E fan.wiring and relay also cap.e bay

Did you use a 4 row? I am thinking a 3 row is still a huge upgrade and would leave more space between that fan and the those bolts. I like my AC.

They have multiple names this mob all over ebay alloy work ASI pro performance etc etc these are just bulk purchased radiators from china rebranded and sold as whatever this is why they are hit and miss

I just installed my rad a couple weeks ago and one of the fans has already burned up they are fused and relayed but one fan has died whats going on?

we have put about 200mi on this car since the install and so far no issues at all. go check them out !

missed an oppurtunity to delete the ac compressor and the pulley with the studs giving you clearance issues. after you said the rig needs a different sized belt than others i thought thats where you were going

Well I bought a Alloyworks radiator last week for my 92 Z28 and tried to install it today and found out that the transmission lines won't thread in to the radiator because it looks like they threaded the hole in metric and not the 1/2 20 standard threads like there advertised said. So thank you Alloyworks for wasting my time and money.
