Freedom of Research: A European Summit (Aftermovie)
Freedom in all its dimensions is a fundamental European right. Freedom of research is crucial for fostering innovation, advancing knowledge, and ensuring Europe’s global competitiveness. With "Freedom of Research: A European Summit", the International Charlemagne Prize Foundation in Aachen (@karlspreis) the Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research (c:o/re) and @RWTHAachenUniversity have demonstrated why freedom is the cornerstone of Europe’s future.
From the FREEDOM LateNight at the Ludwig Forum Aachen, featuring inspiring speakers, creative performances, and interactive panels, to the Symposium at forum M, where renowned scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and citizens engaged in thought-provoking TED Talks, panel discussions, and workshops - we showcased the power of research freedom in uncertain times.
