Halftime D-n-B Production w/ Whitebear/Form Null, Halfred & Re:Set / Extract from Lesson 1
Whitebear/Form Null, Halfred, and Re:Set are the chosen instructors for this course, who share the same passion for sound and experimenting with different genres. During the course, they will produce a collaborative Halftime D-n-B track and guide you step by step through the entire process, from the synthesis right up to mixing and final mastering.
On the first day, Arthur had introduced students to new ways to approach their sound design and composition. Drawing inspiration from other disciplines, they learn to reimagine their track as a living, breathing space that is inhabited, as opposed to just sounds arranged in time. Understand the "why" along with the "how", and set up a solid, well-informed, and intentionally designed foundation for the rest of a track.

why always the same sounds? full fm leads its getting boring
first I was celebrating, then almost wanted to leave disappointed, when I heard works for Cubase and Ableton...man dis sux, ... no Logic Pro X, once more?. Stop moping around the house :) Its quite the same in Logic , already in my "old" 10.4.8 , in the midi transformer can bet set on random, for several things, not just the note length I'm unsure if the density can be changed like we've seen here, even if not this opportunity kicks ass man!!! Thr harder part im often have been struggling truggling with... is done

what about in logic pro x?
Logic had gate setting in the left hand info panel for random note length you can use Logics MIDI FX to randomise the decay for a similar effect. or there are plugins like Stepic which can do this too. If you don't want to buy anything then you can use the MIDI transform under the functions menu in a region to make a few variations & then use them.. it's not long to constantly randomise. but its easily do able!
