What are the angle tension straps? Is that to add strength from tilting. I have not seen that on the prior units and is that something that could be added to the older units?

nice! a little too much $ to spend for us right now, maybe in 5 years. i was thinking the side windows could be a 2 piece - 1/2 metal on the bottom and 1/2 glass, so that you can have a fold out platform to use as a table/counter space.

Do a person needs 4x4 mode on while driving on snowy road or only used when stuck?

I will be doing an install of this panel pretty soon. My main question is, why the air gap? I've seen others do double sided tape on vinyl wrap w/out bolting. However, I question the efficacy and quite frankly, worry that it would fly up and off in average to severe conditions. I like the idea of bolting it down as the panel does come with appropriate grommet holes. Thanks for the install vid. Amazing vehicle! Very inspiring
