I sometimes wonder where the country would have gone in '68 if Bobby Kennedy lived to be president. Pat Paulsen's humor never gets old, only better with time.

Absolutely fantastic. Bobby, like his brother Jack, had a very fine sense of humor. Wonderful clip with wonderful people.
At about 1:09 I would swear I saw Pat start to break down laughing. The only time he EVER laughed was an obviously fake laugh that was part of his schtick. Whatever funny is, he went way past that.

Just watched this movie. This is absolutely Masterpiece. The concept of this movie is Excellent. The whole movie is shot only one room and all 12 actors did marvelous job. Everyone should watch this movie.. 20/12/2020 sunday 6:49pm

Wonderful idea to have Henry Fonda narrate this, since he is exactly the kind of distinguished figure who would be asked to narrate a SERIOUS documentary about a real candidate.

This is a pretty awful Trailer. I think it does highlight some of the best scenes but it just doesn't mesh.
I have a bottle of 1985 Sauvignon Blanc from the Pat Paulsen Vineyards. Can't count how many times I've had to explain why I keep it. If he ran today, I'd vote for his corpse.

I recently saw this movie for the first time, and now I may be the only person on Earth who actually *wants* to get jury duty.
Yeah, most people do whatever they can to avoid service. Wait until you are drafted into a grand jury,...it will be either boring rubber stamping of cases going from law enforcement to the judicial system or wrangling like the movie,..but it wont be just men that ended with the 1950's,...it will be with 16 people. I don't know what it is like in your state Zuko, but in Alaska we have to serve for a week and it is with 16 jurors. you have the duty and authority to deny a case go on to regular court, or lower or increase what the person was charged with. The second day of my duty I was excused for dental work, the court put a substitute juror in for me that day,..when I returned all hell broke out, 3 jurors,.all women googled their rights as grand jurors,..and it was like freaking 16 angry people for a week. I remember we upped a case from assault to attempted murder and dropped a case of 2 horney kids caught in mutually agreed on sex,.the boy was only 3 months past when he would not have been charged at all,.if it had gone to court he could have been forced to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life in the same class the pedophile offenders. I learned the importance of Grand juries but I got to tell you I was exhausted at the end of that week.

@@ZukoHalliwell So many times I've been summoned and wait and then sent home because they settled out of court. I've never sat on a regular jury, just the grand jury. Let me know how it goes, I'm not so convinced juried courts are always the fairest way, you'll know what I mean when you meet your "peer" citizens, a lot of people try to get out of jury duty so what your left with, well all I can say is I hope I never have to be judged by a jury of my supposed ''peers" because what you get, just like the movie is kind of a social crap shoot.
