Thx for video... I didn't realize about the beading problem with the plastic mixing pallets; the small ceramic dishes are a good idea. I agree, having the proper art tools for a beginner is very important so they can learn the proper way first & experiment later 😻

Hi Rebecca! That bookbinding book looks fantastic, but it's interesting that there is no coptic stitch in it.. I've dabbled a bit with bookbinding, but it's been ages since I've tried. I may have to give it a go some time soon! I havent tried acrylic gouache, and honestly have only ever tried jelly gouache (HIMI). I've mostly just done watercolor and a bit of acrylic. I'd like to give gouache a try too, soon. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you have a great day! 👍😊👍

♥Thx for the video... I didn't know the Derwent Scales were that big either... I took a couple of chopsticks & drew a few measuring marks on them (LoL) they fit in my pencil box. Favorite color of Winsor's Designer Gouache would be a Red Violet color. Never tried Acrylic Gouche - Interesting...😺

Hi Rebecca! Thank you for the video! Very nice haul! 😀 That Derwent drawing tool is very cool. Also, I absolutely love the Turner acrylic gouache. Favorite color…? 🤔 That’s hard! lol if I had to pick though, I think I would pick Currant Red. It’s a little bit on the pink side, but can easily warmed up. I think it’s beautiful on its own, and it’s the best mixing red that I found. I absolutely love it! Thanks again for the video!

I hope you don’t get too obsessed with these palettes, I currently have 2 pocket palettes for watercolour and one for gouache, 1 folio for a combo watercolour and gouache, 1 Demi for watercolour and two waiting to be filled!

I brought my Sendak mini during lockdown and still love watching videos of what other people keep in theirs. Glad to see you have stuffed yours nearly as much as I have mine. ❤

I really do love the look of this palette, especially that the pans are metallic. They look like they fit very securely in the palette. I checked out the Art Toolkit site and they're currently sold out of everything! 😂 I'll be keeping in eye out for when they're in stock again. Thanks for sharing! 👍😊

I didn't notice a particularly bad smell from the ones I've tried, and I don't know why you think oil paint is toxic. It's the pigment that might be. Most colours aren't.

Your review is helpful. The smell is definitely not something that gets mentioned in reviews. Your houseplant comment is telling. I believe this kind of paint was originally developed for scenery painting.
