I only attended Mountain View on the '98 tour but luckily I have a personal copy of the show. It's not the entire thing but it's a decent amount, about 40+ minutes. I've never shared any of it before but wanted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of this show today and finally share one of the few performance that were recorded in full. I haven't decided if I will share more/all of the tape, but subscribe to my channel in case I do!

Yes they performed Step To Me at this show. Unfortunately at some point during that song they motioned for the audience to wave their arms from side to side which caused someone to knock the camera out of the hands of the person filming so the performance is only a clip and not the whole thing

@@ChristianSaadwhy would you be opposed to sharing this? There are so many people like me who would adore being able to see the rest of it. I don’t understand this mentality. If I had this I would want to share it with others who experienced it and never had a chance to relive the moment.

There are multiple reasons why I decided to only share this much so far. I hadn't gotten around to digitizing the tape until recently and that was when I realized some parts of the video are really bad quality in terms of not just video but also audio. Also it's not the full concert, it's only about 40 minutes of footage and only 2 songs are recorded in full length, most are just clips. But more importantly, I was 12 years old when this was filmed and we went in a group of 17, majority of us being tweens, so you can hear us screaming and singing along throughout the majority of the tape. I always found it embarrassing to hear us screaming and singing because I can recognize those voices specifically and know who it is at each moment. Also, there's a lot of footage of us before the show and during the drive to the venue, so the concert footage feels like more footage from us that day. It might not make sense but it feels like a home movie to me, especially parts where you hear us talking to each other or singing or screaming, it feels really personal and adds to the footage from before the concert as a bigger picture. That's one of the biggest reasons why I don't feel comfortable sharing the whole thing. I decided to upload this because it was one of the very few songs that was recorded in full and where you don't hear us that much. I will most likely share another performance that was recorded in full and if there are any moments that really embarrass me in terms of hearing myself singing or screaming I'll just mute that part. I'm not saying I will never upload the whole thing, but it would definitely involve a lot of editing, especially on the audio side. I recently was in contact with someone who says he might have an audio recording of this entire show. If that is true and he decides to share that with me, I could use that audio and dub it over my video footage, which would solve the problem of me being embarrassed by hearing my voice and my friends voices throughout the tape. Lastly, I think it's worth mentioning that there are people out there with entire shows that refuse to share them because they just don't want to or are unable to for whatever reason. For example, someone who attended the Tacoma concert has the entire thing in full and has posted for people to stop contacting him to share it because he never will. Again, I'm not saying I'll never upload the whole thing, but hopefully this could give you a better understanding to why I've decided to just upload this much so far.
