This fox obviously doesn't fear humans (or US Marines in that matter).

The Arty Mechs (artillery mechanics) know how to get shit done in the field. Even when it comes to killing a Corona. =)
Marines know how to do it

What kind of kitchen knives would Hitori Honzo have?
"If, on your journey, you should encounter God... God will be cut". One of the finest lines I've ever heard.
He really wasted time making another sword. He should’ve just given her one of those.
God, you're a dork.
“If you encounter God, God will be cut…..”… wow, just wow, have more emphatic lines ever been spoken
Anybody" can comment on "酔生夢死" seen in the background? Has it something to do with the film?
Good phrase to get ya kilt round me
huuuurduuuuurrrr
they could have put a little cene more like he forge the katana as she train it could have made even more deep
No.
BANZAI
Gotta love how beatrix was holding back the laughter while Hanzo and his pupil were bantering, just to keep up the fassade a little longer
"Must be beeg oo-rats"
You can't travel to the Far East without an onward ticket...
My favourite detail: Beatrix laughing at him saying "I'm not bald, I shaved my head", then having to suppress it because she's still pretending not to know Japanese
He's amazing... loved these scenes
Love the kitchenhand 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyone else piecing together that Hanso-san is constructed as a metaphor for post-war Japan and faded Imperial and samurai culture in modern Japan...and Bill, Bill serves (in the context of Hanso-san) as a metaphor for atomic weapons? They're not of course perfectly-matched metaphors but really the only sacrifice is to keep consistent with the storyline.
🇵🇹
Even the dot above his "i" is Japanese. Hatori Hanzo is the best.
What I hate about part 2 was that part 1 was so Japanese based but when it comes to part 2, it became a Chinese Kung Fu movie.
The man at 3:05 is Kenji Ohba a well known a Tokusatsu actor who has been involved with Super Sentai & Metal Heroes one of his well known roles is Space Sheriff Gavan.
4Chinese words which hanged The master's back means Life of Drunken Death of dream
If Tarantino had only made 5 movies, he would have gone down as maybe the best director in history because he wouldn't have had a miss.
Japanese is such a cool language especially for films. Especially when the tone is that of mild irritation.
Yellow haired warrior… go
At 7:00, the melody is very much "Once upon a dream"
Why is the Center of the World Texas??
If you're a renowned Swordsmith, would you keep your amazing works from the world or show them to the world weither subtly or publicly?
That was a thing of beauty!!!
I like Hanzo. He seems like a down to earth guy. He really regrets taking Bill as his student too.
Uma Thurman = Legend. Fact.
One of my favorite scenes of the movie. I still can't find the artist of the song played in the scene where she goes up to the attic . Really Erie but mesmerizing music.
Rip Sonny Chiba
That was a great fucking movie.
"Yellow haired warrior" just sounds so badass
Clichéd.
The sign on top of the bar: 酔生夢死: すいせいむし:suiseimushi It translates to idling one's life away.
Always loved how he writes "Bill" as if he was writing in Japanese
Okinawa is as much Japan as Porto Rico is United States
Ah this kolossal crap shit
I love how Japan is labeled Japan, with a smaller label for Okinawa, the Pacific Ocean is labeled Pacific Ocean, and all of North America is labeled Texas.
When I saw the movie in the theater I know instantly that is a special movie. Lots of touching moments, epic...Tarantino made a masterpiece with the Kill Bill movies
Lets remember : Weinstein was the same monster he always was when he published this film, and Uma was aware, and heard the "rumours".
Beatyfull
The Bride: "I am going to kill Bill" Anyone who has spent even 15 seconds around Bill: "Yeah, that's fair."
Zamfir was a good touch
What's the song when it says Chapter Four?
Time stamp?
醉生梦死
The minute she stepped into the bar. He knew who she was and why she came.
If he liked baseball so much why didn't he make baseballs
This man broke a blood oath I believe to never make a sword again. And I always imagined he killed himself or cut off his hands after she left
I like how after the name drop, his first question 'why do you want him' he's absolutely still, maybe even scared. He has no clue why she's there, could be for revenge, could be for someone he knows, it could end very badly and bloody. But once she says she's only there for steel, he relaxes just a bit. Someone who respects, and desires, his work is still probably dangerous, but they can have a conversation. He isn't worried she's going to kill him and his apprentice over a wrong word. And once that conversation happens, they build off that to the mutual respect and shared history that makes it clear where they stand. But that first moment of tension, where he has to filter all the possibilities of someone knowing who he is, is a great moment of acting.
