2015 Subaru Legacy 3.6R 2 weeks ago my screen froze, no touchscreen functions respond at all. I've made do since then using dials and speech commands to change radio stations etc., but today my Bluetooth stopped working. Is it possible to replace my "Non-Nav" head unit with a replacement that has Nav, or is that a function that simply won't be compatible? TIA //M

You never removed the unit, all you di was take plastics off and show it partially out of its location....Didn't show back where telmetrics sits under the radio,,,,,

Has anyone removed the face plate from the radio? Mine has some gunk on rhe capacitive screen rhat is keeping me from using some touch features. It needs to be cleaned.

Do you still have this? Whenever I start my car, it doesn't automatically start carplay. It'll take me to bluetooth audio. Do you have the same problem?

My number one concern with replacing my factory head unit in my Tundra is that aftermarket units seem to have issues with echo and noise on phone calls with their mics. Any feedback on the quality of the phone mic on this unit?

I know it has been way over a year but any update as to how this head unit is holding up?

To get your car info (gauges, TPS, etc) did you have to hook up the OBDII wire? I noticed on the Maestro iDatalink install guide it says the OBDII wire is not required.

Can you tell me how you got the mic working for audio calls and where did you place the mic. I am having trouble with my mic and my calls are not working well now. need help.

Thanks - very helpful. Two things: 1) My clips for the air vents and climate control needed a LOT of "encouragement." I was really afraid that they might break. All ended OK, but the force I had to use was considerably more than what one sees in the video. 2) If you need to remove the screws to the side brackets on the unit, be prepared to work! They're shallow Phillips-head truss screws (the type used in most OEM installs), but they were a BITCH to remove. I had to put the unit on a very firm surface and really bear down, and some of them were causing me to actually sweat! I had never before encountered simple truss screws so hard to remove.

I like that you can watch UA-cam videos while you’re in park because when I get home I like to sit in my car and watch UA-cam in my driveway I didn’t know you could do that when I first got it I downloaded the car VA Assistan that I’m gonna try that tomorrow that’s pretty cool

What filter did you use? I tried a couple different filters but none of them fit.

Been six months. No idea if you'll get a chance to respond. But do your OEM USB ports function still or do you have to use the units ports? Had a pioneer a while back and I had to use the USB extension cable with the unit.

I guess I'm old school. I have a Pioneer touchscreen in my sedan but on it I use the SD card to play music files. I don't really use Google Play etc, and I think Bluetooth sound is lousy. Does the DMH WT8600NEX have SD card input for music files? I'm considering putting into a little 2-seater I have. ...thanks.

hey. i got this unit and i wonder how is your radio receiver strength. i have hard time connect to stations which i had no problem before. or interference is way greater. so i'm curious whats your experience . thanks

Do they make any acc. Volume wheel that you can adjust the volume fast, instead of slow buttons under the glass? My steering wheel does not have any controls
