Next time I suggest to turn with the road. Notice how if u go straight when the road bends you’ll usually end up hitting a gaurd rail or woods

What was it did you focus on the wrong place or hit the brake or something?

If he wouldn't have got on the brakes so hard and just leaned into the turn a bit he would have been fine. Even when you are leaning into turn when you get on the brakes that hard the bike stands straight up and will continue to go straight until you crash or let off the brakes in time to make the turn. When this happens the first time most people panic and are only thinking about getting the bike slowed down and they over react. That turn was not very sharp and he wasn't going that fast. The bike would have made that turn easily at 75 mph. No substitute for experience, just be glad the only thing that got hurt was your pride . Well and the bike, glad you posted this, No better display of someone trying to ride harder than their skills will allow.

I just want everyone to know that I know exactly what went wrong and that I would have handled this and every other situation with complete and total perfection, thank you in advance for your admiration.

If you couldn’t make that turn, you definitely shouldn’t be on a sports bike. But also passing to begin with, while coming up on a turn is a pretty moronic thing to do from the start. I’d definitely think hard about all that went wrong here, before getting back on a bike.

Always look at the inside of a turn,NEVER look to the outside because you'll go there every time... Your bike will go where you look... Try it a d see what happens when you look to the outside of a fast corner...

Yes... you'll be back and just as dumb, passing on a double yellow, and going to fast to make the curve !! People like you never learn by your mistakes, just keep on making them, and Being stupid !! It's obvious you don't have enough riding experience to be riding that fast !!

Target fixation…the bike goes where the head goes…the best practice is to force yourself not to look at the ground when turning at stop lights and surface streets…look through the turn and up the road, not at the ground…it feels uneasy in the beginning, but it pays dividends in the long run

Bro...with ALL seriousness...take some lessons, do a track day, or sell the bike. First the Suburban and the gaurd rail and now this? I'm not picking on you but you are going to wind up as just another stain on the road if you keep riding like this. Reach out to somebody for help before your next screw up winds up being your last.

This is the manoeuvre I am always afraid of, so always go around corners slower than I could. I have come close to crashing like this a few times, and for the same reason that he crashed. Staring at the edge rather than the road ahead, not counter steering, being to timid in leaning, etc..

Remember, what you're looking at is where the bike goes. Turn your head and look at where you want to go and lean.

This happened to me too. I was coming up on turn, but for some reason my body froze and also too late to brake hard and stop. I went off road but nobody saw that embarrassing moment so I'm good. 😅

So how are you suppose to tackle that? Just lean left the with the bike?

I know you may know this but important for others, when you go into the turn maintain your powerband, lean into the turn and accelerate coming out. Also important is to focus on what your driving through the turn and to not focus on whats on the turn

I am curious to what was going through your mind? rolled off the throttle then nothing, didn't push the bars over or anything. Have you ever watched "twist of the wrist 2" highly recommend it, will help you tighten corners

What you did wrong as a beginner is that you ovetake on a turn but you had time to lean which you ddnt...

Simple counter steer would have prevented that
