Moonlight Motor Inn

Walker Creek Music Camp is located about an hour north of San Francisco and features top level instructors and musicians from around the country. This years Spring camp was held from April 11-14. In addition to the daily morning classes, instructors also teach a number of one hour electives. Greg Blake's vocal elective was all about tone, tempo, and feeling. Selecting a song is the first step. Here, Greg sings a song written by John Malcolm Penn titled 'Moonlight Motor Inn'. The guitar work and vocal phrasing help to paint of picture in the listeners mind of days long past.

As usual, my cat is ready to evaluate my progress on any song. He she taking notes while I work on the "Tombigbee Waltz". Can't wait to hear what she thinks.
