I’m building a ‘77 blazer that I bought in pieces. Almost all the way back together now, the clutch assembly was confusing me with the spring. This video would have been super helpful. I figured it out but this video confirms I did it right. Sick Nova!
I have the same noise on a 1987 buick GN. approx. 3,000 miles on new rebuild engine. Did up size the cam & changed the springs. Removed the valve cover and discovered one of the rockers were badly worn. Lifter still pumping oil as it should. Will be changing the entire rocker assembly next week.
I replaced puhs rods and lifters still had the noise then I replaced timing chain and gears new cam and lifters still had the noise ....tighten balancer ....noise gone ....uuhhgg
torque harmonic balancer to 200ft lbs that got rid of the ticking , I did new cam new push rods and lifters still ticked torqued balancer ....noise gone
hey Micah Autoserv. quarters were rusted on the bottoms and i didnt want to do Half quarters so i did 2 full 1/4's and 2 full doors. i also have a 1968 nova's only group on Face book ...come join
hi nice car i have a 73 I'm doing the conversion but i having problems with the clutch linkage can you send me some pic.and the part nom of the bell housing you use thanks
How many hp's? That stock scattershield may not hold up under a lot pressure. I went with a steel Lakewood, to keep from getting a big hunk of clutch or pressure plate stuck in my leg.
dude he came off the stage and took a picture ill post a slide show on youtube in a bit but he came and did a pic and did you like that robot he was funny

Could you tell me what the part number is on the bell housing I bought an 11” and it won’t clear my starter
Oh boy that was a long time ago and I sold the car , I don’t have a number for that , sorry
Was watching the video and was gonna comment that you forgot the flywheel but then you went back and showed it going on lol
