XCX is my favorite game of all time , so every year i casually replay XCX at least once , and every year i watch your speedruns ... i did not expect that you cut your 100% survey run by at least 2 hours since last time i watched. This is insane , your runs are amazing. Thank you for running this game.

I feel like this game is pretty underrated as a casual playthrough. I had a ton of fun playing it right about the time the remaster was announced. I plan on playing the second one soon as well, I’ve heard people liked it about the same or a bit more.

Sub-5 is coming one day, and I can’t wait for you to break that threshold.

I should've left a comment here the last time i watched this, (which was quite a long time ago) but for some reason i didn't. Anyways, this video REALLY helped me with learning how to perform this glitch more consistently, and the glitch itself is insanely cool!! I wish this glitch (or a similar one) existed in and the other numbered Xenoblade games, as the games heavily lack ways to explore much more of the worlds that you don't normally get to see... although tbh, someone could probably just make a no-clip fly mod for each of the games instead, and then we could do the same thing, except FAR easier.

While this run obviously isn’t as compelling as No Instant KO, I do think it’s neat how the strategy changes to prioritizing Agility since you want to get your turns early now. As a result, Savyna and Mizuti (who aren’t used in the No Instant KO run) are now used because they have both a Level and Agility advantage over Kalas and Gibari.

I’m always amazed at the level of patience it takes to improve upon this run. For any run that’s 5 hours long, practice is really hard since you can’t just try 3 times a day, so it comes down to knowing where to practice and hoping the next run gives you good RNG. Sub-5 may be difficult and possibly luck-heavy, but I believe you can reach that threshold.

I love your work in _Xenoblade_ speedruns as well as commentaries during the marathons, and I recently played the _Baten Kaitos_ games for the first time (which are great, by the way) through the remaster. I noticed you did speedruns for the first game on GameCube, and I was waiting for someone to do a speedrun of the remaster, so I’m glad it’s you giving us the first ever run of this version. I would love to see more since it seems not many people are doing runs of this game.

So i want to do an attempt of a 100% speedrun of xenoblade DE, do you have any advice/strats you used, how you kept track of quests, items etc.
