I own a Mellotron FX Console which was purchased by Czech Television in the 1960s. According to available information, only 60 units were produced. I bought it about 16 years ago and used it on my band Red Baron Band albums, specifically Reflections (2010) and Last Chance (2023). It's the same model in grey as Paul McCartney's. You can see mine on UA-cam in the Red Baron Band songs Where Sun Goes Down and Invisible Man.

I was 14 years old when I saw this on TV, I was obsessed with the story and still am today. RIP to all.

Touch screen technology in the beginning of 2000 with 3 hundred sounds, great step ahead from Roland . Big issue is the Zip drive problems during years usage and auto of tune. Never figer out why he does this along several years usage. Taking this is an amazing workstation keyboard.

Gosh, this keyboard used to be my favourite lol. Try my Keroncong style made with not all parts with the same length of measures and that is the specialty of Roland style programming I think starting with the E86's technology (All MSA format and compatibles only). Btw, the length of the measure can be up to 136 or more if my memory still can recall it right. Thank you , memories are made of these.

Thank you for this video, its really helpful. I got a VA-7 a month ago, and its amazing, I do not have ZIP disk that comes with VA-7 which has 500 styles and voices and other useful stuff. Is there any place i can download that ZIP disk? some people selling it for 80 Euros on ebay which is very expensive for a factory disk from Roland. Thanks!
