Come and join me as I live the life I have before me each day. Every day is the same in many ways, but different in just as many ways. I am restarting and there are lots of projects and plans that need to take place before it can function to its fullest. You may find me cooking for my new husband, Kevin, or my family, you may find me working in the yard or garden, or you will most likely see me enjoying my farm animals: Nubian goats, a potbelly pig, Sanford the cat, and my dogs. I hope you find the one thing that I hope to find every day; joy, more specifically the joy that only God can deliver!

THE NEW MACHINE! Preserving some pears!

We recently got a new machine to help with preserving our harvest. Such a blessing to have been able to purchase our new Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! Our first harvest to freeze dry were some pears that were offered to us and all we had to do was pick them! So looking forward to having this tool to preserve our harvest! #harvestrightfreezedryer #harvestrightcommunity
October Garden-the final harvest of summer?

We had a small frost and the day before I tried to harvest as much as I could. The frost ended up offering minimal damage, so after a week the plants offered up some more beauties! Even though the frost was minimal, we are officially in the Indian Summer Season! It is still fall, but the temperatures are nice and warm! Cold weather is ahead but I’ll take these mild temps as long as I can!
2024/25Breeding Season has begun/visit from Mike-The Fit Farmer/two bucks go to their forever homes!

It has been a busy October! We started our 2024/2025 breeding season. Two of our bucks went to their forever homes. One was picked up by Mike-The Fit Farmer and two of his kids came to pick up our brown male goat to become their male stud goat! I totally forgot to get any video recordings of their visit here.
