Howdy, and welcome to my channel!
My name is Tucker, and I'm glad you stopped by.
This channel is mostly dedicated to my hobbies I enjoy. It includes quite a lot of summer & winter activities.
I was a member of both The Spartans and The Cadets Drum & Bugle corps, and I am a life long skier.
When I started this UA-cam channel, I just wanted to simply document everything I had done in years prior. I can happily say that it has far exceeded that in many ways!
If you like what I do and enjoy watching my videos, subscribe for more cool stuff. I am always looking for great ideas and suggestions while making videos throughout the years!

Snowmass - Two Creeks
Two Creeks at Snowmass Colorado, is a long detachable quad that extends from the Two Creeks base area to the mid-mountain Elk Camp area of the resort. The lift was built as a massive expansion project in 1995, which saw the installation and expansion of two major areas: the Two Creeks area and the upper mountain Elk Camp area. Two Creeks was primarily built for many townhouses, mansions and condos that extend downhill past the main area of Snowmass, while Elk Camp opened a huge all natural gladed and bump run portion. Two Creeks has only four trails that lead down to is base, which are Eastbranch, Creekside, Cascade and West Fork.
_The Lift:_
Despite its long lift profile, Two Creeks actually is not the longest lift at Snowmass. The longest lift at the mountain is actually the Village Express at 10,074 feet long, while Two Creeks is not too far behind at 9,835 feet. What makes the difference between the two, is that Two Creeks can operate much faster on a daily basis, at around 1,100 feet per minute, or 5.58 meters per second. Village usually does not operate this fast due to the amount of beginners using the lift often, which prolongs the amount of time you are on the chair with the mid - station a little more than halfway up the line.
*Lift Info:*

Capacity: 1,775 riders/hr

Speed During Recording: 1,082 fpm / 5.5 meters per second

Way Out, is an advanced single black diamond bowl that starts from the top of 6-Chair, and traverses through an open area which is in between the Peak 8 and Peak 9 flats. Way Out is in a somewhat remote area of the resort, as it takes skiers & riders a bit of finding to get to the entrance of the start. Once you pass through the Way Out gate however, it feels as if you have taken a backcountry ...

Place is empty! What a beautiful day
It should be noted that the design speed is incorrectly reported to be 1200 fpm in many places. The top speed is 1000, as confirmed by one of their lift mechanics commenting on lift blog.
Yup, that’s kinda interesting. I wonder why there’s rumors the operating speed, it’s just a normal detach here.
This lift has a direct drive in the upper terminal.
does this lift have a direct drive?
We were on Wirepatch on the same day! There was a lot of good snow that week. I like your videos, nice job!
@@papigooroo thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed!
Sublette at Jackson Hole has the same kind of chairs. Hoping to check it out next weekend.
When sitting on the new comfort chairs, I found that the space between bar and seat was kind of small for the average person. It doesn't help that they also attach a trail map on each bar as well, so the first time I rode up on the lift, I got whacked on the head, lol. You can even see in my recording when I pull the bar down I have to lean to the left just to not get hit. But other than that I think the seats are designed pretty well, and they don't rattle over the towers, like so many LPA chairs do.
Wait tf I didn’t know this thing had a midstation I got N/A education, but damn that motor is so nice and loud
This lift directly replaced Coney Glade and Burlingame and was actually referred to as "Coneygame" on some master plans for that reason. The bottom terminal is where Burlingame started, and the midstation is where Burlingame was cut back to in 2005 when the Village Express went in (and used to be where Fanny Hill ended). The upper terminal is where Coney Glade ended, while Coney Glade started on that elevated mound on the left at 3:00.
Part of this lift replaced the old Coney Glade lift!
In there rn in a cabin good job tho
Don’t you worry abt camera falling off the glass ?
Nah, I got it on there pretty good
you made to outpost! not a ton of people record this lift, good job on this one!!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. It took me awhile to dodge the lift supervisors, apparently putting a suction cup mount on a cabin is not something they like, lol.
Incredible video
Bruh, where’d you learn to ski? No pole straps? Savage.
Where’s the Sun ?
Behind the snow clouds ❄️
Incredible
Imperial SuperChair got a new paint job.
A bit tougher run there. I could never do that.
Wind protection is sick looking too!
Nice!!!
That SLOW sign must have been for someone else!
Just cruising on down the line. Cool.😃
great condition and great video
Is every day a sunny day there ?
Nah, sometimes Mr. Lucifer from Vail H.Q reminds his subjects of their sacrifice to their overlord. He sometimes flies over Keystone and casts his shadow; demanding respect from all inhabitants who ski and ride the mountain to purchase all the overpriced burgers and hot dogs from the lodges.
2:30 Yeah I don't think he saw you.
Lol, yeah don't know why he veered right at the last second, good thing I was able to avoid him.
Great video thsnks
Heading to Granby tomorrow. Apparently the pow is insane! Nice skiing
@@agamzxhv11 thanks for watching, and have fun at Granby! It’s a fantastic little area. Üllr seems to be treating us well this winter😁❄️
Nice video! FYI though, Leitner is not a French company. The HTI Group, which owns both Poma and Leitner, is based out of Vipiteno, Italy.
This expansion is great. Reminds me a bit of the Sunshine pod at Steamboat, and I like how it’s isolated from the rest of the mountain.
Love you, Mr. Bone
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
nice run.
Great video
love from Brian head Utah, come out
Thanks, maybe one day…. ⛷️
What lift is this off of
@@jacksonr1135 yes, it is off of a chairlift. 🚠
Man, you make me want to ski again, but I'm 75 and know I won't. Sure do like your downhill videos!
I’m glad you enjoy the videos, but you’re never too old to ski! 😉
@@tucker.84 After not skiing for 15 years, I decided to go to Mt. Snow in Vermont four years ago. I realized my skiing days were over. Now, in the last year, because of arthritis, have had reverse should replacement in both shoulders. Also, have arthritis in my knees. I will have to be content watching you ski, and others.
It's a small hill, but it's nice to see a ski slope that is not crowded.
Stoked to check this lift out this season!
Nice, very nice.
Wow, zipped right on down that time. Got to find a run more like an Olympic downhill. Love to see that.
Finally a winter video of this lift!
I went skiing at Massanutten today, and the two out-of-base lifts (Creekside and Easy Rider, which both have loading conveyors) were constantly slowing and stopping. For instance, the lift would slow back down a few seconds after speeding up. Either people didn’t know how to properly load the lift or chairs weren’t being completely filled. It was also a bit crowded, which made the day feel like a drag. Thankfully the upper mountain stuff was mostly a walk-on. Also, the max speed in this recording is about 400 fpm.
I wish we got a few more of these Leitners.
