@@funkymojo111 yea I tie direct and I keep my rod tilted up unless I’m at an exaggerated elevation then I may have to angle down and to the side to maintain tension but not pull it to high off the water. I do usually use whopper Ploppers though and I do the same with them

Because, it is incredibly difficult to build an aircraft. And, if you have the MILLIONS of dollars it would take…. Why would you build an airplane that could not keep up with modern airplanes ? Some of those aircraft still compete with modern aircraft. But, they are NOT recreations. They are HEAVILY modified airframes with modern engines and avionics.

First place my youngest ever caught anything. The strip there is difficult to fish but pays off at times

lol not a fan of eating them but I’ve been getting some Crappie lately I’ve been tempted to put in the pan

Man it was fun that spot provided this year until we had some bad storms and trees have clogged the entire upper strip. I was shocked what I caught there and I still have some editing to do but I’m pretty sure there are some videos of people around me just giving up when I start pulling multiple 3+ out. I even gave the spot up but cast have to be extremely accurate down that channel or you lose everything

I’ve only caught one walleye and it was delicious with so many ways to cook it, Crappie are good though fried and baked

Fair statement, I was casting in moving water and both act about identical in a moving current I still use them fairly interchangeably but if I were to have only one with me it would be the whopper plopper
