I would skip the swivel if you are doing any kind of catfishing, unless you are bass fishing and changing lures a lot then it’s not really needed while catfishing. Could easily break if you hook into a big flathead.

The most reliable minnow carrying bait stores ive found are on opposite corners in Hillsdale Ks .. 255st i believe ...
@@stevemp8606 personally I like Minnesota bait if you go to Bass pro shop or Scheels they might be out of minnows Minnesota bait always has bait!

Best way to fish carp is with a bow.
@@HillBrosRacing it depends why... if it is because carp are invasive and destructive. Silver and Asian carp are a big problem in the US. ANY carp is verry bad in Australia. Then I understand the bow. Common and mirror carp fit well in the US ecosystem so don't kill those beautyfull fish👍👍

The way the trebble hook is tied to the line is a break waiting to happen. Clean the inkholder of an empty ballpoint pen. Cut 2 peaces of about 1 inch long. Get a wooden food pricker. Put 1 piece of the pen on the line and put the pricker in. Then a swivel on your line to put a rig on for the trebble hook. The the second piece of the pen with some of the pricker. That way you avoid knots being weak spots in your main line. By the way... a trebble hook is unnesecarry. If you tie your hair rigs good they will always hook good.
maybe a video woiuld help show what you are describing ... All i know is once the circle hooks came to play ... I stopped using treble hooks long ago ... oh... i havent used dough bait either ... fuck i havent even fished in a year ... never mind ... Go Vince Go
@@stevemp8606 look for a "helicopter system " . Basicly 2 stops with a swivel between them. On the swivel you tie your rig. Good luck if you ever go fishing again👍
Well I am at least using a snap swivel with the treble hook and the treble hook was just kind of a wild idea and we ended up catching our biggest carp on it actually. It is completely unnecessary though

🎣 100% an awesome catch right here, Love catching catfish myself and they are a good type of fish to eat as well. I never used minnows to catch catfish. Normally I just use raw chicken liver and that does the trick a lot.
