I cannot be the only person who despises both Cassie and Roisin!!! Nothing to do with the actress, but their characters grated on me like no other, 0 chemistry and Roisin literally cried her way through the entire series, so annoying 😬 The creators maybe thought they could be another Nikki and Helen but those two a VERY though act to follow. No wonder cassie and Roch only lasted a series.

Marina was by far the hottest character on the show, and the only one who truly got to Jenny. Nikki was just narcissistic nonsense, and even the great SHANE was friendzoned for many years before they settled for each other. Nobody friendzones Marina if she doesn't want them to.

Yeah Bette and Tina were endgame and I'm sure we were all pleased with that but c'mon.. In season 4 the chemistry between her and Jodi was REAL. And Jodi was soooo kind hearted and fun and beautiful.. I just love her.

Their love story is so much more romantic because of how the prison setting stifles the freedom to express their growng love for each other. It's the yearning for what we don't or can't have that makes the desire for "forbidden fruit" more delicious. Simone does such a wonderful job showing the gamut of emotions and growiing realization of what Helen really wants vs what society expects of her. Watching her break free from conventional norms is pure pleasure. How Simone puts so much seemingly real emotion and nuance into her acting amazes me.
