You must be very hungry to fish in those conditions. Trust me, I've been there but lived in a warmer climate so never had to stoop to ice fishing. Nowadays most places have food banks where you can go and get food free if you qualify.

Get either a hoyt alpha X or a hoyt rx8. The adjustability for draw length on the cams is great. They are so smooth. You can adjust the back wall stiffness to your liking. The draw cycle is so much smoother than the Mathews and coming from a no cam you are used to a smooth draw cycle. Biggest thing is don’t stick with a Mathews and get a lift or the limbs will crack on you. I’m also hunting both private and public in Wisconsin. Good luck this season
