Thanks for the feedback. It would be very helpful to learn more about your specific situation. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team at 1 800 677 0517 or info@ecostrong.com and they will be happy to help you out.
Yeah just get it replaced. Just replaced one today; strange this got recommended to me lol
If flow has completely stopped, then you're right, we would recommend a new leach field as well. However, if you have some flow, then spending a few hundred dollars instead of spending five to ten thousand on a new field using Septic Liberator is worth it for many people.
What about when it rains for days on end? We have a brand new house only 3 years old. And we only garbage disposal table scraps, no bones, never paint or anything that would clog the system. And we have septic water coming into our shower drain.
Are you seeing any pooling of water above the septic leach field? Heavy rain can saturate the field and slow down draining. When was the last time you pumped the tank out? It may be time to empty it. 3 years is pretty early to start seeing bio-mat issues. My concern would be that it is a construction issue.
you don't need a pesticide to deal with fruit flies at home. just use bleach or vinegar. cleaning helps with most bugs and mice aswell.
Anyone on a septic or with old pipes should avoid putting bleach down the drains. Vinegar isn't strong enough to kill all of the fly eggs.
Just not leaving any rotting fruits and/or vegetables in your house is enough.
Fruit Flies can snack on a as little as a drop of juice and lay up to 100 eggs. The scum in most peoples drains is an all you can eat buffet for these little guys!
Helpful hint; STOP flushing non biodegradable substances!!!! If it doesn't breakdown it will plug up your system! Pay to have your system repaired just once and it'll change your point of view real quick!
Should work in an RV as well
It does. We actually have a specific prodcut designed for RV Grey and Black water tanks. ecostrong.com/collections/rv/products/rv-camper-holding-tank-treatment
that shit won’t help if it is that full it needs to be pumped out before major repairs are needed to fix it. snake oil.
A backup caused by a full septic tank is different than a back up caused by bio-mat buildup in the field. We agree, pumping your tank is still best practice if your tank is full but it wont do anything for a failing leach field. That is where Septic Liberator comes in! It is able to break down the bio mat restoring flow without having to dig.
Dog pee smell fumigating in flip flops! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Some doesn't smell right here😂
Don't worry, it's a bio-enzymatic odor eliminator not a fumigator
U could walk him u know?
Milf
$3 bag of lime! Love your energy and enjoyment
This video sucks and wasted my time. 😊 If you just smell dog pee in your yard I think you're gone
How many dogs do you have?!?!?
Legit this is wild
Dog urine odor is a problem for people with small yards, in hot dry climates and especially in yards with artificial turf. Having a lot of dogs only makes the smell worse!
I’m sorry but if you have a dog pee smell problem in your yard you have way too many dogs.
there's no such thing as too many dogs!
Or put a little v8 juice in their water saw that on garden show it works
Or don’t have a dog
but dogs are the best, the smell of pee, not so much...
@0:45 looks like Jenny was in the mood. Smelling sh!t must be her thing.
Look, just have it pumped every 2 or 3 years. It is not extremely expensive. $350.00 every 3 years is not a big blow to the wallet.
Pumping your tank out is important, but bio mat can still build up in your leach field even if your tank is regularly emptied. In most cases, septic issues start in the field, and work their way back.
@@ecostrong agreed. Unfortunately, that is what is happening. I have been an idiot over the years and done everything wrong...grease, paper towels down the toilet, paint...etc...So I am basically screwed. Now I know better. However, I do get about 3 years out of a single pump.
Bob can dig a hole and fill it with gravel. Or horse manure works great for starting bacteria. Good idea though I'd like to see it in action. Anti bacteria soaps and detergents are tough on septic. Esp flushable wipes and lady products.
Agreed, anti-bacterial soap and things like bleach will kill the existing bacteria in the tank and field. Never flush anything that isn't considered "septic safe".
This ytv is full of you know what . Once your system is in this shape ,mainly bc you failed to keep your tank cleaned out ,your only choice is start over with a pumped tank and a new drain field installed compliant to your municipal codes
You could empty your tank regularly and still have bio mat accumulating in your leach field. Most systems don't fail overnight. They start to show signs of failure. So long as there is still some flow through the drain field, we can deliver the bacteria to the field and we can break down the bio mat.
What I ativ ingredients
The active ingredients are facultative bacteria and enzymes.
Does this still work if we have a salt water softener installed ?
Actually tree roots hate salt water, so that is a plus for having your softner drain into your septic.
@@username8171never knew that. We had a big tree cut down to the right of the area. I am getting a little puddle down from the slant where the tree was So not sure if now the tree is gone the water just isn’t being used up Plus it has been raining every other day !! But the puddle just seems to stay
A water softener can add a lot of salt to your septic tank and leach field bed. Too much salt can harm the bacteria in the septic and cake up the field. That said, this product will still work if you have a water softener.
Bob should sell the boat anyway it’s a money pit
Agreed...
NU-TECH BIO. The best of the best for your lines.
Nice video, but one of the top reasons why leach fields fail is paint from the homeowner cleaning brushes in the sinks! These folks should educate everyone on what to not put down their septic in the first place.
Excellent point! We always advise customers about septic safe cleaning products & soaps. Big no to bleach, antibacterial soaps etc.
Yo. gorgeous travel-
I have water on my field lines when it rains hard! I have had dirt put on it and graded to run off the water but nothing is working! I just had my septic tank pumped out and it still back up when it rained heavily! I am at a loss in what to do!
How old is the leach field?
@@ecostrong 3 years and brand new house
@@jimmycasey6400 that doesn't sound like an issue cased by bio mat. It sounds more like the system may have been installed incorrectly. Are you able to contact the contractor who put it in?
@@ecostrong yes and they will not touch it! I have been told I will have to put a new system in that will cost me 6k
@@jimmycasey6400 It has been said that if you can introduce 'aeration' to the effluent, from a separate chamber, that effluent will then have AEROBIC bacteria which is many, many times more effective than the ANAEROBIC bacteria from a typical tank. The separate chamber would require investment, and would need aeration, likely from a 120v air pump, but could over time 'heal' your drain field like this product claims. Also, make sure your daily water output doesn't approach your drainfield's capacity. And NO grease down the drains. Or Bleach. Or other chemicals. No food disposal.
She said septic taint
I did get sick from that back in 1982. Only time though.
May God bless you, my brother. My question is whether chemicals such as soap and shampoo when they enter the drainage system will affect the crops after they enter the ground. Is it possible to plant in the soil into which the drainage water seeps? Thank you.
Provided your septic system is installed properly and is functioning, you should not have to worry about soap and shampoo effecting plant life.
You do NOT WANT TO plant edible crops over a drainage system period. Please do your research.
I have used this product in my septic system in one of my houses. This product is absolutely awesome. It save me thousands and thousands of dollars. I recently sold that house and had the septic system inspected. The company couldn’t believe how well it’s operating being that the septic system is over 30 years old.
Thanks for sharing your success story! We're so happy to hear Septic Liberator helped.
Thank you for the review. I just purchased it from Amazon, hopefully it will do the trick.
@tjschwartz42 did it work ?
100% fake or paid comment
Would this product work as a preventative measure when there is nothing wrong?
Yes, however we do have less expensive products designed specifically for septic maintenance. You can check them out here. ecostrong.com/collections/septic-maintenance
bob faints and falls into a puddle of poo.
Hopefully not!
lol I just died reading this
Lmfao 😂
Where do I get this product in Australia saw this ad on my mobile would like to get a reply it's always hard for me when I'm using Google on my Samsung a31 Android mobile phone
Hi Gary, you can email us on info@ecostrong.com with the shipping address and product/size you would like to order. Thanks!
Lol you could just use clear tape?
The process is cut short when you add the cleaner directly into the line leading to the leach field. This method is far better because pouring it into the toilet or the septic tank will dilute the cleaner's strength and that will slow down the results. The key is to pour undiluted cleaner into the line that takes the cleaner right to the problem area. This is done by removing the secondary septic tank cover, pulling out the filter, and using a garden hose with a funnel. After that, be sure to pour a few gallons in to wash the cleaner to the leach field. Another way that would be even better is to locate the distribution box, if you can, and pour the cleaner and water directly into that.
The goal is to get as much of the treatment to the leach field as possible and this method certainly does that! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great suggestion, I was just wondering how to speed things up for mine.
I think you are going to spend money on this process. And then ad it to the replacement of the field. The bio treatment is not new
You're right that adding bacteria and enzymes to your septic system is not new, but the science has come a long way in recent years making it fare more effective than before. @@fredrickemp7242
@@ecostrong It absolutely has now progressed at all. They have been trying to go the cheap way and it never works. Been in the field for 50 years. You even have all sorts of aeration. They put rods down in the ground and blow the ground up. Works short term. back in the day they would put sulfuric acid. Works short term. It’s like making a pond bottom. You literally have to scrape it away. Taking an aspirin won’t cut it.
