As many of the commenters have opined below, be careful spraying this one!!! It's STRONG... When I first spray it on, the coffee is so dark it smells 'green' to me and just about gives me a headache... But it does settle down and I get a maple syrup note coming forward.. The first time I wore it I was sitting in a restaurant with a friend and the manager of the restaurant, who was about 20 feet away, walked across the dining room to a couple of his waiters and asked if either of them had "dropped some maple syrup or something."... I sometimes overspray but this one, a light, feeble light spray on either wrist (avoid your sleeves!) is sufficient for hours of wear... :). S

I have this fragrance in my collection and it's one of my favourites.... After I wear it a few minutes, I almost get a "play dough" feel from it (the leather?) and I really like it..... Cheers. :)

B683 edt and my signature perfume since its release in 2016. I also have the extrait, I noticed something that this house provides more refined and powerful samples than the bottles. I did the side by side tests and I noticed the difference

You’re right Mikey in terms of the projection. You can tell when you test spray it on your arm, initially it jumps straight to your nose and it’s nice. But unlike my other fragrances I don’t get consistent wafts and it does seem to die off within a few hours.

However I personally think a collection of 7 of the very best fragrences would be the sweetspot with a signature in addition. As one bottle is emptied you can choose to change the fragrence to a newer release etc. This way your always using your frags within their optimum shelf life and have sufficient variety without breaking the bank and developing addiction.

Some other pretty much bang on ones, with good performance, and which I enjoy are the clones of Herod, Halfeti Cedar, Beau de Jour, Pure Malt (actually better than original), Pegasus, Midnight in Paris. I always get the extraits.

Stuck in their old ways is exact. Those are the type of ppl who still wear those powdery baby wipes scents like le male, reflection man and amber de ambysses

I really its a great scent. I wear it often in the office, but also in the gym. Its fruity, has depth and sweetness, but its masuline and smells neat.

Tried addicted, got it through the post yesterday. Wasn’t sure what to think at first and thought it leaned more feminine. But then I smelled it more and more and now I love it. Not smelled a fragrance that boozy before, pure deliciousness.

The notes seem so similar to Van Py Rhum, are there any major differences in your experience? I’m debating which one to get😅

I bought a 10ml based on this video mate, wasn't so sure about it when I first sprayed it but it's grown on me massively. Absolute gas and will be getting a 50ml in the near future

I got Parlour take on Tobacco mandarin and it's awesome. Wish mandarin is more prominent but ... I can only imagine how Byredo smell's like. I'm not about clones at all. Over years my receptors developed and every clone smell cheap. I try them from time to time so will this one.

Sprayed it on myself in my car about 4 months ago and my car still stinks of it. Was banned from wearing it at work because it was drowning everyone. Went from coffee, to pancakes like everyone says, then turned in to a nasty curry plant smell that is rank. Thats what my car smelt like. This stuff lives by its name because that tings following you for months..

As a lover of tobacco vanille - heres my take. Tobacco vanille is a lot more raw and intense. I grabbed a bottle of tobacco touch, and to my nose, smells the way tobacco vanille does 3-5 hours later, but is missing the first few stages of the authentic tom ford fragrance. They arent the same..but they smell like family members...

I just got this on sale for $15 USD. To me it's a fun mango fragrance with some warmth though the oud isn't overpowering. I think it could work all year round but might be a little cloying in very high heat. It's not beast mode on me but I'm allowing it to macerate for now so will see

I’ve had this fragrance for a little over 3 years and can not figure out how to use it. I know you can wear it by itself but I want to see it work as a “fragrance enhancer”. I haven’t really wore it much so I still have a lot left, but I just don’t know what fragrance to mix it with. Any suggestions?
