While the man is very wrong about a lot of what they said with anything not incorrect being more personal preference, I hate the idea the old games don't have much story. Just because the game has a different type of story doesn't mean other games don't have a story focus. The old games had a focus on Kratos' PTSD and need to avenge his family to have purpose. The new games he has a new purpose. It is called character development and just because you didn't like the story or the character doesn't mean it wasn't there.

However, the next 6 top selling games (3rd-8th) equal that number; these 6 games being: the first Splinter Cell game (which was a timed exclusive for Xbox and had better graphics than PS2 and less bugs/glitches than the PC port that released the next year) had 3+ million copies sold; Elder Scrolls Morrowind (console exclusive for the ENTIRE Xbox/PS2 generation) had 2.8+ million copies sold; Fable (another full generation console exclusive) had 2.6+ million copies sold; the GTA Double Pack (GTA III+San Andreas) had 2.4+ million copies sold; Need for Speed Underground 2 had 2.2+ million copies sold; and lastly, and ARGUABLY just as great as Halo, as well as a console exclusive game, STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC had 2.1+ million copies sold. Combined, those 6 games have more sales than the 2 Halo games, with a combined a total of 15+ million copies sold. And when it comes to the other games for the console, here's the breakdown: - 44 OG Xbox games sold a minimum of 1 million copies - 100 Xbox games sold btwn 0.5-0.99 million copies - 122 Xbox games sold btwn 0.25-0.49 million copies - 260 Xbox games sold btwn 0.10-0.24 million copies - 157 Xbox games sold btwn 0.05-0.09 million copies - 116 Xbox games sold btwn 0.02-0.04 million copies When you combine all the copies sold (software sales), you get a total of 270+ million sales...and the Halo games only make up 15 million of that total (approximately 5%). But if you've played even half of these games, you would know how good they are, whether its the star wars games like KOTOR and Republic Commando, or the mech games like MechAssault and Steel Battalion. OG Xbox has the exclusives, and being the most powerful console of the generation, ELEVATED its exclusives as well as many multi-platform games like CoD and Splinter Cell play best and most optimized on the console. And for the record, I do think when you say that you've visited those with an Xbox had less than 20 games for the console, those that I know and visited that had a PS2 also had less than 20 games; so I don't think that really paints a factual non-anecdotal picture of how the selection of OG Xbox games don't appeal to most Xbox console owners when there are 100+ Xbox games that have garnered over a half million sales figure (along with another 400+ games that appealed to many niche playerbases with its less than half million copies sales figures, like Thief: Deadly Shadows, another full OG Xbox exclusive game btw). I don't comment all of this and reveal this stuff that I was saving for my own video project I was working on because I want to talk badly about PS2; I say this because I think alot of people really don't know just how great the Xbox and Xbox 360 are. I know how great the PS2 is...I've owned one for about 2 decades now AND my cousins have always owned playstation consoles and thats all we played when i visited; the go-to games being DBZ budokai tenkaichi games, Smackdown Here Comes the Pain and Naruto Ultimate Ninja. When I would visit my uncle's, I'd play GTA III and Def Jam Vendetta. I've put in 100+ hours throughout my childhood on PS2. I like those games alot. But without a doubt, the OG Xbox library is too good; Halo, MechAssault, Splinter Cell, and KOTOR is enough to convince me that it was the better console to play on, not just graphically and performance but also and more importantly the gameplay and overall experience, in addition to the single player and multiplayer content. Truly unmatched. Games like Republic Commando, Jet Set Radio Future, Fable, Ninja Gaiden, Doom 3, etc etc are all just icing on the console cake.

Ps2 = cheapest dvd player sales the most. Plus selling at less than $100 for several years inflated numbers. It is rather odd that after all these years, sony just randomly updates their sales number for a console thats 3 generations old. Why not update any of the other consoles sales? Pretty convenient on Sonys part.

You spent your Christmas seething about Harman Smith all because he called out Sony for suspiciously inflating PS2 numbers all these years later. It's not just him but everyone else is calling this out too, but you want to seethe over Harman. Remember when you promised to not cover Harman anymore? I do. Most people but playstation 2 for a dvd player back than. Alot of people rent games than buy them. Out of 155 million console sold like the sale numbers for game was like 13 million. Most gamers don't care. We play all games on all system. Playstation 6 might be sony last console

omg, when I saw those trailers, the word woke didn't even visit my mind! I was just thinking "omg, this witcher 4 trailer looks awesome! I don't know what happened to the guy but the girl is just as awesome!" When I heard that intergalactic was woke, my first reaction was "how?" and then I saw some people saying "shaved head" and I was like "what?" and then I looked into it but I doubt that's what it is. Well most games didn't sell good for playstation sad people don't buy there first party games. Plus lego Horizon is 60 dollars. Sly cooper they won't make again it didn't sell good. This is annoying. I've hated the Witcher games forever, and now a bunch of crybabies are ruining that. As a detected hater, I'm insulted that people would be mad at The Witcher 4 for this. I mean, i hate them because they're boring repetitive slogs that aren't half as profound as they think they are. And these guys have to ruin my hatred with misogyny? Unforgivable.

So Ciri was built up for 3 straight games to take over for Geralt so I just cant. even in the witcher 3 she is a witcher in a few of the endings and Geralt retired. this is stuff I have been ripping into people for as well. Now intergalactic... Im very very skeptical since The Last of Us 2 was so bad story wise and jumped around A LOT.

I'd say PlayStation dominated this year despite some setbacks like Concord, the PS5 Pro, and the PSN account requirement for Helldivers 2 on PC.

Silent Hill 2 Remake I can understand not being there because it's a remake, but the same rule should apply to SOTE because it's a DLC. Helldivers, Stellar Blade, or even Indiana Jones could've made it on there. But instead we got Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero, two games I've never even heard of until now. Black Myth Wukong I can definitely see, since it seems like almost everyone who played it ended up liking it. Why Genshin Impact is even there is beyond me. For the Labor of Love or Best Community Support or something like that I could definitely see, but player's voice? Makes no sense. In all fairness though, this year was a dry spell. At least next year we'll have GTA 6 and Doom Dark Ages.

This isn’t a purchase for SIE/ PlayStation section, this is mainly for Sony Music/ Aniplex. Tencent and some Korean companies are trying to enter and expand their influence in the anime market by buying Kadokawa, which is a huge anime and manga publisher. Sony is trying to stop them.

I kinda miss when Naughty Dog still made cartoony platformers. Thank God Insomniac still does that, though.

I have pre-ordered Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered ( PS5 ) and Lego Horizon Adventures and I can`t wait to play them. I have platinum all of them already but I will always go back to them.

For me Horizon games are my first games from Guerrilla and I really hope they will make more rpg games because they are awesome.

I just read an article that Guerilla is staying with Horizon and leaving Killzone behind. They're thriving, so it's better they stay alive.
