Look at how many countries in the African continents who are unstable now with different actors fighting each other, and consequently, how many boats filled with migrants that have been capsized on some raging seas? Look across the Americas, and see how many thousands who are fleeing their homelands as well to save their lives? In Haiti, for example, you have a bunch of guys in power with a huge cloud of suspicion over their alleged participation in the assassination of the former president. Since coming in power, P-AU-P has become a death valley, and consequently, the entire country is practically paralyzed. They play the constitution-game fairly well, their role according to the constitution was to organize elections within three months as an interim government to pass the power to the elected officials. What they're telling you is that they can't organize any elections due to the plague of insecurity reaping through the country, while they maintain they will only office when there are elected officials to pass the power over to. From 3 months mandated by the constitution, they are on their third year now in office, and yet, the insecurity is increasing day by day. Their stance remains unchanged as far as their grip on power is concerned, while the insecurity is worsening before their very eyes. Do they give a damn about anyone being rejected out of their homes by their gunmen? If they do, they have shown any sign at all that's the case. Do they care about the curfews being put in place by their gunmen in most of the places around the Capital? You guess not. Do they care about those gunmen going from cars to cars searching every passenger's purse and wallet, and charging the fo- hire drivers and motorists huge some of money at four different checkpoints set up by the gunmen on some of the main roads leading up to the Capital every single day on broad daylight? With this blatantly clear ridiculousness on the part of those so-called authorities, can you seriously tell anyone that you're not guilty as hell should you sell them any more weapons and ammunition? What is the level of trust here when all of this is unfolding right in front of their eyes, and they do virtually nothing to stop it? You can't play politics with young kids who can't go to school because of uncertainty wether they will return home safe. In some instances, they can't even go to school because they've been kicked out of their homes. They don't have access to water to shower, and can't even find anything to eat. Why should you support a gangster-type of government like this? Don't you think these folks have a legitimate right to topple a criminal regime like this, and return to their normal life? If you have to use your influence here, it should be to free these folks by removing the demons that are in power right now. They've destroyed the former president to land them their posts , and they intend to stay in until hell freezes over to cover their behinds.
