@@davidpeck596broken wheel, bent a-arm, broken front left body panel, few more items. They had me back on track later that day.

I've had mine for almost a year now (~16 track days) and I've only spent <2k in maintenance costs. No major downtime, and no crashes :) I have great support from the Cali RUSH Dealer so they take care of my car and keep it running well. These cars are very easy b/c they are motorcycle based and a custom body so really and cheap to work on. Hope you get one!

@@kabriel random question, but from the factory is it tuned for any specific fuel? Or it whatever the regular gsxs engine would take?

@@jeremiahklingman6489 happy to answer any questions! The RUSH just takes normal 97 octane pump gas so you can fill up some cans at Costco on the way to the track :) Got any other questions? I had a tone before I got into my car.

@@kabriel oh great to know! Thank you. Any maintenance recommendations? I’ve read in the forums to check/relube the CV joints sooner then later.

@@jeremiahklingman6489 I’m not great with mechanical stuff, so I work with the California RUSH dealer to maintain my car and do all this.

oh man! this reminds me why i picked the RUSH, so easy i can just drive it and not worry about all that so much :)

Hey man great to hear from you :) Yeah I got my comp license and I'll be going with NASA (both NorCal and SoCal) from now on because I want to focus on racing. For me the fun is really when I'm wheel-to-wheel competing for position. If you come out to any NASA events please let me know, would be great to see you again.

You'll love it! Really easy to drive around the track. Don't take the corkscrew too deep though or the stability control will kick in and bog down the power on the back right tire.

@@kabrielr I've spent several days now researching racing seats and seat harnesses and roll bars etc. I've already gotten new seats for the 350Z with a sub slot. Corbeau RRXs. I love the seats so much I'm going to put them in the Cayman also with a roll bar. but I'm struggling with the Z3 only because I want to put white seats in it. Corbeau RRSs are the only seats I found that can be had in white vinyl. they would look phenomenal in this white roadster. so you mind if I pick your brain for a minute? with your new car oriented more like a formula car than a sedan do you have a six-point harness in there? I'm wondering if the sub belts go underneath your buttocks like a climbing harness or does it go down through a sub hole in the seat?

@@Aeneas137 Yes the RUSH has a 6-point harness from RaceQuip. It goes through holes in the seat and does not wrap around you. It is very comfortable and allows me to (1) left foot break b/c i don't need to hold myself in the seat, and (2) drive at higher Gs because it holds me tight and I don't move around.

Oops forgot to respond to this. I went down to Buttonwillow for the first time. Wow sounds scary with the oil spill. Hope all was ok.

@@kabriel yeah fortunately there were no collisions. West track was fun. I did a best of 1:34 with new wheels and tires that are a lot better balanced. so that was my last track day of the year and probably one of the last times I'll take the Cayman out. I'm putting a ton of effort into the 350Z to get it done.

My goal is to race in ST2 (where the other Rush races) and hopefully we will have a spec series going next year. I'll go up to HPDE4 after a few more sessions and then try TT2 and go to comp school. I purchased this thing b/c i want to do w2w racing :)

Understood. This is all just to have fun and practice my skills as I work my way up to actual w2w racing.

I’ve gone off track at the exit of 6 so I know the limit :) do you do any sim practice? I’ve done 100s of laps in iRacing w/ VR to feel more comfortable at speed, especially on turn 6.
