What did you have to do to add 400ex suspension to it?
I welded upper an arm mounts on the frame. The upper an arms are 2005 trx450r and the lowers I completely build. They bolt up to the factory an arm mounts. 400ex spindles, brakes, and tie rods. The rear is a KOQ long travel swingarm with a 400ex axle and bearing carrier.
Great video man! I’m a racer out in Indiana and I’ve got a UA-cam channel as well. We actually just started powder coating a couple months ago and it’s cool to see the different techniques you use. Do you do very many illusion or candy color frames? That’s been our biggest struggle starting out is doing candy color frames with super chrome base. You have any experience with those? I’d love to see a video on how you guys do them. Keep up the great work, you earned yourself another subscriber!

Where is the radiator? I built a very similar setup but use roll design 400ex front and jb long travel shocks 48" wide. I have an oversized cr80 radiator mounted under the nose and had to trim a lot of plastic to get enough air flow to not overheat during a moto.
@@QuadCity12 Hi. Sounds like a cool build. Just used the stock radiator from the cr85 and mounted sideways up high under the front plastic. Also used a 04-05 trx450r overflow tank. It’s mounted off the steering stem mount higher than the radiator. I have had zero issues with overheating.
