The myth of Himar's being a miracle weapon has already been shattered. There are still a few good hits occasionally, but by and large the Russians already know how to counter this system. At least 2 were damaged in counterattacks last year and 1 or 2 destroyed early in the conflict in 2022 due to ukraine using them the wrong way (parking them in open spaces etc). Plus the normal Himars/M270 has only 30-90km range with their missiles (while they do have one with 150km range its expensive and still in a test phase) the Russian Tornado, having not only a bigger missile, but they are just as accurate and have a missile with 120km range. They tested in 2020 even one that had 200km range. Another wrong thing, even with ATACMS it only has 270-300 km range, not 480km. The russian equivalent, Iskander-M actually has 480-500 km range.

Some were fighting in turkey, not to great success, and now it is in its first real shooting war in the Ukraine - also not exactly doing great. Well its paper values are good (not great, but good all around) and crews like it, also in maneuvers - but "winning wars" it ist not - at least not until now, and its EOL is coming fast. And it is almost prohibitively expensive compared to other good tanks. Wars are won by numbers - and this tank never was deployed in large numbers in a real war.
