I have a old rusty chain on the current bike (not broken ) . I would like a new one online without going into store . How can I measure to buy right one beside count links
@@cesargonzalez6828 you need to order chain for your bike, year, model ... And you Will get longer chain than old one, then you Just short the New chain by lizing it on bike and check what lenth you need. I also recomend changing sprokets. And on sprokets you need to count teeth or find mark on them.
@@mxdj175 sprocket and chain no metal wear down . Is there a way to clean these both

really leaving tape on it is okay? i mean i guess i dont see it burning or affecting anything too much but why not tak it off as you insert it?
I think its not important to take it off, it can not burn anything, but you must take paper tape, not duck tape or plastic tape.
@@mxdj175 that’s crazy tho I just don’t see why not take it off when inserting it would have to get better airflow without either way

Yeah, it is dry and destroyed and full of rocks. We have this track 10km from us...but it is not that good.

Two stroke oil, you smear piston and cylinder inside.

how to reset clickers?
When you disasembly forks you must turn adjuster full out, but you must count clicks. When you asembly forks just put clickers back on old position. If you want just reset set up you just put adjuster totally in (clockwise) and then you count clicks out to perfect position. Standard compression damping is 15 clicks. Rebound damping standard 15 clicks.👍

did you turn in any of the rebound or dampening screws before you did this ?
Yes. Both screws turn out full, before you take fork apart .
@@mxdj175 i take it turn to the minimum ? would this be clockwise or anti clockwise as the ones im about to work on have no arrows on them ? Or plus or minus signs
