In general, the editing was phenomenal! on-par with LifeSteal video quality! But some things to point out; more replay montages of fighting would absolutely be wonderful, the music wasn't intense enough. But with the ratio of fighting and video length. This will be a bit more complex than that and may rely on the delivery/transition to make it a bit more expected and smoother. making the flow more possible; change the pace of flow a bit better. 2:03; the zooming out and then the quick appearance of the other teammate fade-in/glitch-in effect feels wierd. Like I expect the "slow fade in appearance" as you commonly see, or a variant similar on these types of videos. The sudden distance change is abrupt and feels weird, by having the viewer adjust a bit. But a type of adjustment that's bad and emits temporary confusion. There are a few more details, but most of these are in the first 2-3 minutes of the video. With only one extra issue that can be helped by audio changes, or fully with how it is portrayed. 7:55; the general "oh fuck" sequence is done in a good way, but parts that feel off; the static is a bit high on volume, and I think a better combo to also possibly make this sequence a bit shorter; 1; the audio changed to clearly audible muffled talk of the audience. and a combo of a quieter but still fade-in of static, with a build-up sound effect that can possibly be added to the buildup of the fight. With a general overview in replay mod of their first movements and actions (if they were interesting. Just to make sure we are on the same page). visually I'm not sure how you can go about this to still be unique editing but not feel like a weird-sudden fashion or a bit of a chaotic one. I can still understand the intent somewhat clearly. But in a way that's not the best. You can find some videos of situations like these so you can see how they went about it and understand the combo of visuals, situation, build-up, and audio. But these scenes are uncommon so it may take a bit to find a or a few to reference. I am not here to talk to you like a baby or anything like that. Off of the quality I see, I can very likely guess that you understand these concepts well. I only re-said them to make sure we were on the same page and/or reinforce the statement, to highlight its importance. I am also not an expert in this exact field. I only show my constructive criticism as I see a whole lot of potential in your channel. With only a bit of tweaking can you get into the big leagues. I am also not a person with no UA-cam experience. I have some, a viral video (10k views, literally minimum requirement lol) related to Minecraft. So I know a few things, a few small things. I also monitor my emotions and understanding by taking apart the videos I watch while watching them or thought through afterwards. So I am a generalized helper, that compares what is good/popular with people who are very close to being potentially as big as those big leagues. Currently, I recommend seeing how people who recently joined the Lifesteal SMP did theirs, or youtubers like Frame Flags as a better potential comparison. as until you can get into Life Steal. I recommend you don't expect results like those people (but still edit like them). But rather still big UA-camrs which you can more realistically achieve similar fame-. like people with editing styles similar to LifeSteal, but not in the SMP itself. As these are people in more open SMPs that can still have interesting features or mechanics good enough for a video. Which includes any videos you make. Since you and they won't be as reliant on being featured in the already big channels. What you can get would be more realistic with these people's other SMP videos, as you and them would be in a similar situation and similar audience. (or don't compare at all, doesn't mean you shouldn't learn from them) But again; With your editing style easily in high quality, just needing small tweaks, you can certainly get about 1K and likely 10K subs! Sidenote; 11:00 to about ending of the final fight. Is something felt off with the story writing and editing but slightly. But over the duration makes it more confusing to watch. I can't put an exact thing about it. But I think the few explanations of what you are doing, and maybe some expected visuals that are common with fights not being there, had it all felt off. Like a replay of the 2 groups before the fight would especially fit in, and also more calm moments with the fighting sections, like escaping. to help info being sent to the viewer isn't being spammed or non-stop. But here is what was really good; the team render by @MiffenKop was just GORGEOUS! and the moment of your death with the flashbacks behind the bridge was AMAZING! The cinematic shot with well-done-flash-back visuals and shaders was PERFECT! 10/10 that moment was one of the best moments/scenes in the whole video! Further to note, SFX placement (besides the ones mentioned above) was placed and chosen VERY-VERY well! But even with all of this, never forget branding and try to stick out from the crowd with new or unique editing! - subbed
