When you won the Golden Buzzer, that was the first and only time I remember having all of the judges come up on stage. Your audition was one of the best ever and I still watch your performance because it was so good, and like one of the judges said, it is just who you are - sincere and humble that is why you and your audition were and are so special. Also, I have never seen so much love between your family members. This absolutely astounded me. There was one shot of your youngest son, Alfie, when he smiled at you and the love in his eyes was totally unbelievable. Another example of how special you are - simple, humble and full of love.

You've got singers, and then you have artists. An artist has the ability to move people..and no doubt this guy moved everybody in that building that day. I wouldn't call it an audition..I'd call it a clinic on how to be a cool & awesome person.

This is the first time I have ever seen all of the judges go up on stage. Jon deserves it and this was a wonderful audition not only because of Jon's talent but it was a glimpse into a family of love. Congratulations, Jon! Boy do I wish I could have been there!

I think his youngest son was crying because he needed his daddy to be home...not out playing a piano in bars. It is sad that our kids are only young once. We cannot look back and say "so many moments I missed in my little ones' lives, I wish I had the chance to do it over". We don't get that time back. There seems to be so much said in praise for a parent showing their child how tough it is to be a good worker or to follow ones dreams. To me, it seems we are teaching children that it is normal to emotionally and physically (almost) abandon their own children. How is this positive? I agree this fellow has quite a bit of talent, but to win the whole season's worth of talent with an impromptu song? Well, I'm not so sure in the long run, it will be worth what he had to give up for it To be sure, though, he is talented.
