Well, we had the same question and the only we could answer it is by trying it out ourselves. We and our stock Jeep Compass 4X4 try and explore different terrain and trails to let you know that stock 4X4 can take you to places that you had always dreamt of.

We tried to take our Jeep up a rugged rock surface, unfortunately we did not pick the right line and ended up damaging the exhaust and the underlip of the bumper. The sound you hear at 2:28 of the video is quite depictive of the damage. Well that's lesson learn and we move on from this.

ON our Way to Kaza, Himachal Pradesh we found this dry river bank that looked too appealing to not sink our tyres in them. Why peopke say non reliable engine AC issue Lots of maintenance issues?
No issues bhai, it's a Fiat engine afterall, quite reliable. About AC, i was in Varanasi, reached 50⁰C temp, still AC was chill no issue. Maintenance is definitely on the higher side when compared to Harrier

Only high ground clearance car can do this type of extreme off-road ing😊😮 Jeep has low ground clearance as compared to others, its good for highway & normal off-roading, not for extreme😢

Very impressive. I have seen many Compass Trailhawk videos and after seeing this i can say that apart from the approach and departure angles this model S version is a perfectly capable offroader in it's own right. Particularly when you realise that the Trailhawk badge comes with a premium pricing that might not be worth it given the mediocre offroad capabilities compared to other true blue offroaders available.

Update after almost a year of following multiple Jeep Compass videos. Now a proud owner of the S 4x4 in bright white and grey roof. To anyone who's got a question whether the white colour is a solid or metallic paint, it is a metallic colour more like pearl white. Got it in Jan 2023 just before the latest price hike. I can confidently say that this video has played the most substantial role in my decision. Thanks to all here 😊

Without lift kit which tyre we should install in jeep 4×4 longitude plus diesel which has 17 inch alloy
You can try good year silenttrac AT…it’s almost same as OEM specific you look for an upsize you can do Michelin LTX trail or Yokohama geolander AT tbut this might not sit well with all JC models, so try one by fitting if it doesn’t scape or clash with anything you can fit the rest
