Perhaps I treated the NCR too harshly. It is not my fault, I grew up with the brotherhood. But from witnessing what Aradesh and Tandi built together, I seemed to have formed a bond with them. The NCR is part of the Vault Dweller's legacy. The one that kickstarted everything in the west. He paved way for the Chosen One and The Courier. His legacy cannot be destroyed by the Brotherhood. Elder Maxon is a fool, hell bent on destruction without any hint of mercy. The Brotherhood cannot and must not take control of the west. For the New Californian Republic. Remember Shady Sands.

Shady sands fell in 2277, Fallout New Vegas takes place in 2281 around Vegas, The Fallout Show takes place in Los Angeles, that means most of the strength of the NCR has no or barley any holdouts in Los Angeles after shady sands, so once the NCR sends their troopers from Vegas that’s when the BOS will start having major problems

Most likely due to budget, but also west coast BoS factions weaker in lore. Probably less digestible for people new to FO to see fat man’s, laser rifles, plasma grenades all at once.
