i bought this piano as new on april and now all the words in the top like “transpose” “reverb” etc are ruined and i can’t read them, i don’t know why i always cleaned it from dust but it ruined the same:( at least it still sounds awesome ❤
Sorry to hear that. Mine are fine at the moment (but then I don't clean it that often!!) Glad it still sounds good though :)
@ It’s okay🫶🏻🫶🏻
Excellent ❤
Amazing ❤
Sensacional ❤
Fantastic ❤
Hello Nice ,não vai provar look
What's your name?
You're defo more flexable than me, but great workout. You look really fit. I've had a daily exercise routine for the past year myself which has greatly improved my body as well.
Hi! As a dancer, I think the most important thing about working out is to build strength and stamina to support my dance and prevent injury. In terms of flexibility, I'm naturally quite mobile, but the flexibility comes as part of my dance practice too! But I'm just sharing this as motivation to help myself and other people who (like me) tend to want to stop mid-way through a workout session :))
i love u
😍
Great vlog, really interesting finding out about the audition process. I hope it went well, you look like you were very organised so that’s half the job done.
Thank you! I'm waiting to hear back at the moment, but I really enjoyed the audition! 😁
I have the same digital piano, very pleased with it, yesterday December 7th i put my stand up, and now have the correct height and posture for playing, the sustain pedal is very good too, how are you getting on with the piano? Greetings from wales uk 😀
Hi there! Yes, it's so important to have the right set up, so that your posture can be right! I'm really enjoying my piano thanks :) Hope you enjoy playing yours too!
@theperformingartsandme great to know ur enjoying playing your piano, I played today, and the sound, and quality is so much better now, after setting up the piano stand, very good piano 🎹 and the price wasn't too expensive, for a grand piano sound with the hammer grade mechanism, IMHO it feels and sounds like a real grand piano, all the best from Wales uk 😀
@@adrianthomas6244 Thank-you! Glad you are enjoying yours too :)
I love this
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Very creative- what a fun project, it’s always good to be unique and stand out too
Thank you! It was actually really fun :))
Let's go! ✌️What piano grade are you?
I did my ABRSM Grade 7 a few years back :))
@@theperformingartsandme it's a pleasure to meet you Master, let us treat each other well. ❤️
Grade 8 ? Or is it a myth?
Great vlog, what will you be auditioning for when you finish uni?
I'm not entirely sure yet, but hopefully West End musicals! Although I'm open to auditioning for a range of things, from short films to singing/dance gigs to plays :)
How do you like the piano so far? I am thinking of getting this one.
I really like it, I'm very pleased with it! To be honest I haven't really played it as much as I'd like, because I'm a 3rd year student and it's been super busy. I also haven't yet explored all the functions. But from the little use it has had, I really like it :)
I ❤ CASIO !
muy bueno!
Estoy feliz que lo te gusta!
Enjoy your new piano. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you!
Lovely to see all the extra classes and things you do to expand your skills, setting a great example there
Thank you so much! I'm glad you find it interesting! 😊
It's so sleek and pretty! 🥺 Thank you for showing us! I hope you enjoy every practice session! Happy playing, Millie! 🥰💜
Thank you so much! 😊 Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Thanks for showing us your new piano! Make sure to go live or vlog when you go busking
Glad you enjoyed seeing it! Yes, I'll try to get some footage when I go busking!
hi! really perfect channel!=)
Thank you so much! :)
Wow, your confidence really shines through in this vlog. I hope you enjoyed your shows, your parents must be very proud
Thank you so much! I did enjoy it, thank you 😊
hey!! i know that it's been a while but for songs and monos what was the required length? with monos especially did they need to be a classical/contemp or both? x
Hi! Thanks so much for your question! I'm afraid I can't remember what Urdang wanted specifically, sorry! Most schools asked for songs/monologues between 1-2 mins, or sometimes for songs they would ask for a number of bars, normally either 16 or 32 bars. In terms of classical/contemporary monologues, I think it depended on the school. From what I can remember: some wanted one monologue, and some asked for two (and it might be worth having a back-up one in case anyway, just in case they ask if you have anything else); some were more specific on dates/time period, and some less so. I think I used a contemporary monologue mostly, but I did have a classical one, and I think some schools allowed you to do any monologue, so you could pick if you did a classical or a contemporary. I think it just varied depending on the school! Sorry I can't be more helpful, it's just it was a while ago now! If it doesn't say on their website, you could always email the school to ask if they would be able to let you know. Hope your auditions go well!
Achieving UA-cam goals can indeed be uncertain and tough. I really enjoy the content you share and your persona! You've got a new subscriber here! 🥰 I wish you all the best in achieving your goals! Thank you for sharing your school journey! Best of luck, Millie! (P.S. Your hair is so gorgeous!) 💜

@@theperformingartsandme Aw! Thank you so much for the kind reply and warm welcome! I really appreciate that, Millie! Glad to be here! 🥰💜
Really interesting video. Do you know what you want to do career wise when you finish your course?
Thank-you so much! Yes, I am aiming to be a performer in musical theatre (and the individual disciplines of acting/dance/singing). My main goal is to be in a West End musical!
Wow! Great vlog, Millie!
Thank-you! :)
Wow! Good to have you back, Millie! 😊🥰🙏👍
Thank-you, I appreciate that!
Nice collection. 🩰. My favourite ones of mine are my dance sneakers with split soles.
Thank you! Ooh, that's cool! I've seen shoes like that - I don't have any myself, but I'd be interested to try dancing in some!
@@theperformingartsandme If you have really high arches they feel sooo good to dance and workout in not to mention very supported too.☺
Ah cool! I might give them a try if they feel really supportive then! Thanks for letting me know :)
Wow! Nice shoes collection!
Thank you! 😀
You’re welcome. You’re my friend and keep up the great videos! 😉🙏👍
nice shoe collection👍👍
Thank you! 😀
Thanks for the video! Very informative! Just wondering, if you decided to not accept an offer, do you need to let the school know? Or just do nothing let the deadline pass?
I'm glad you found it helpful! And thank-you for your question! If you are certain you don't want to accept, then I would recommend declining the offer, using whatever method they ask you to use (or email them to find out how to decline, if they don't say)! That way, they will be able to offer the place to someone else who may be waiting to hear. If you aren't sure yet, then you don't need to rush into a decision, but I think it is more courteous (once you have decided) to let them know if you are choosing to decline, rather than just waiting for the deadline pass. Hope that helps!
@@theperformingartsandmeThanks so much for your reply!
No problem!!
Another great vlog, it’s good to see you stay on track with your glow up
Thank you so much for the encouragement! I'm glad you enjoyed the vlog :)

That's so interesting, thanks for sharing! Hopefully other people will see this and learn from it that you can get accepted from waitlists weeks later :) And once again, congratulations! 🎉🎉
@@theperformingartsandme Of course!! Thanks I appreciate it haha :D
Great vlog, I can see your confidence growing in every video
Thank-you so much for this comment! I really appreciate it :)
hi! would you say the dances were particularly hard? I'm not a strong dancer I much prefer singing and acting, great vid as well thank u xx
Hi! Thank-you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! And thanks for your question :) I don't know how helpful it will be me saying how hard I found it, as it sort of depends on your individual situation - some people would probably find it easier and some would probably find it harder! It was also a little while ago now, so it's a bit hard to remember. I will say though that (from what I can remember) the choreography in the Urdang jazz routine had 2 distinct sections - I think one that was more commercial, and one that was more technical, so there is hopefully more of a chance that there is something you feel comfortable with (and there was also the ballet section of the audition, if that's more what you prefer, plus I think there was possibly some improv in the jazz audition, maybe as part of/before/after the routine? And they might have done some technical jazz exercises in the jazz section too? Sorry, I can't fully remember!) Also, try not to stress about the dance section, even if you feel less confident with dance! You never know what the panel is looking for - it might be they want more singer-actors for that year group anyway. If you are struggling with the steps, I'd suggest to try your best, ask questions if you get the chance, and give them as much performance as you can. If they do have an improv section, you can use that to your advantage to show what you can do in terms of performance and acting, or if there are some dance steps that you do feel confident with, you could show them those too/instead. Lastly, I'd suggest trying to enjoy it! I know I didn't really answer your question, but I hope that helps! (Sorry I can't really remember everything now, hopefully I explained some of what was in the different dance sections with a bit more clarity in the video). And I hope your audition goes well! 😊
My son watched your video and it was really useful and it helped him out. Big thanks .
So glad to hear it helped! Thank you :)

Thank-you so much ❤ and I'm glad you found it informative :)
lovely
Thank-you!
ahh tysm! I really needed this:)
I'm so glad I could help! 😊
hi!! i know that this is a year late however can i ask how you filmed your singing and monologue self tapes?? did you film them from further away or in the same way as you filmed this video?
Hi! No problem at all, thanks for your question. My singing/acting self-tape was filmed with my head and chest, so a bit further away than this video is (I'm standing at a very slight angle, and you can just see the back elbow at the bottom of the shot). It's a bit hard to explain, but does that sort of make sense? If you message me on my Instagram (@theperformingartsandme), I'm happy to send you a screenshot (so you can see the framing), to clarify what I mean! And then my dance video was filmed from much wider out, so you could see my body. Hope that helps!
@@theperformingartsandme I get what you mean by that!! Thank you so much! Also, is it okay to have mistakes in your self tape- esp dance? It’s so hard to not get everything right and I’m worried that with a few things that it looks like I’m not a good listener when the panel look at the self tapes but I don’t want to have the impression that I can’t take direction well
No problem at all! Glad I could help :) In answer to your other question about mistakes, I don't think there is such a thing as a "perfect" tape! There will so often be things that you want to be better. I would say to remember that you are auditioning in order to train, you are not auditioning for a professional job - so I think they should be looking for someone they can train. Also, I agree it's good to try to take direction, but if you do your best, then you can't do any more than that! Obviously I'm not on an audition panel or anything, (I'm just a student myself!), so that's just my point of view, but I hope it helps. I also have a video on self-tapes tips in case you want anymore of my thoughts: ua-cam.com/video/jpusswhmATg/v-deo.html
How long did it take for Conti to get back to you after your recall? Might be slightly different as I was recalled for BA Hons. It's been almost a week and I'm SO DONE ALREADY 😂
Hmm, I''m not entirely sure, sorry! I remember they emailed me the result, and I think it was more than a week. I totally understand though, time goes so slowly when you are waiting for news! Sorry to not be more helpful, but I hope you enjoyed your audition and that things go well for you!! :)
@@theperformingartsandme it’s all good!! Thanks anyway 😄 whatever happens, i really enjoyed my audition there!
Thank-you! And I'm glad to hear that :)
@ellieperforms15 I just wondered if you heard and how long it took in the end? My daughter auditioned just over a week ago?
