"After three long decades, our beloved village goddess festival is finally back, and it's more special than ever! This once-in-a-lifetime celebration, last witnessed in my husband's childhood, is now happening after my daughter’s birth. Organized entirely by the daughters and daughters-in-law of our village, this three-day festival is a blend of devotion, emotions, and vibrant traditions.
Day 1 begins with inviting the goddess to the mandapam amidst the powerful beats of drums. Witness the unique moment where the goddess descends into chosen individuals to share blessings and wishes. Rituals are performed across the entire village, and delicious meals-breakfast, lunch, and dinner-are lovingly prepared by volunteers. The day ends with joyful dances and community bonding.
On Days 2 and 3, the goddess is carried through every street of the village in a grand procession, blessing each household with her presence. Finally, on Day 4, early in the morning, the goddess is respectfully returned to her temple, concluding this awe-inspiring celebration with devotion and gratitude.
