Half a century ago i use to stay there! In those days the barn was full of wool and the cottage was painted white. The family were fantastic hosts. Happy days!

Absolutely wonderful Alasdair. Inspiring for sure. And, how great is it that they can do a Lumiere Minute (Great term btw!) in seconds from the end of your video. Impossible in my day of course. Loading, shooting, unloading, processing.. A Lumiere fortnight! On a personal note, wouldn't it be wonderful if, the film had been censored by the future discoverers and the train had been hauling two priests and a dead donkey!? ;o)

I have saved a baby bluetit fallen out of her parents nest here in South France. She loves to listen to the Scottish bluetits singing at the beginning of this video. Spent a lot of my childhood in Scotland. Miss you. See you soon.

Douglas Alexander just doesn't get it. It's not about separating ourselves or about being proud Scots; it's about democracy. I want democracy in it's entirety. You have a special place in our memory and hearts today at the Lakeside Arts Centre. Mesmerising and truly magical. My 4 year old daughter was enthralled and I had tears in my eyes. Gorgeous show, loved everything about it, scenery, music etc., especially the Cloud Man. Didn't hear a peep out of the children sitting on the cloud shaped cushions (nice touch) at the front at all during the 45m show - the whole audience was mesmerised! Loved the very ending - so beautiful :D
