Hey brotha I’m sure you figured it out by now, I see this video is old, but notice where your buzzbait bite came from? Right on the tree shadow line! Next time your throwing that buzz get closer to your tree line, point your nose of the boat towards shore, and cast/run it parallel to the shoreline and you’ll be keeping the bait in the strike zone longer! It will be in the zone for almost if not entire cast, instead of only for the first ten feet of your cast! Hope your still fishing and tight lines brother!

If you have not tried Lake Winterset yet? try there. It is not that far from where you are. 2 Lakes over. Take the canal from Eloise to Winterset. When you leave Lake Summit to Eloise and you keep going straight ahead and the Winterset Canal will be on your left. A super clean lake with good fishing. Go luck and nice fishing. There was a 10.2 pounder caught in that lake in 2023.

Lake Summit is where you are at and the next one over is Lake Eloise and where Legoland holds the ski shows. Great fishing.

Mirror and Spring are good fishing lakes and Howard is as well. I use to live on Lake Howard. I had the grey and white all plastic dock close to where you caught that fish. Nice fishing and great job by your brother. Nice job hooking him up with a fish.
