"Satyameva Jayate" A story of two birds from Mundaka Upanshad.
Today's story is about two birds who perch on two different branches of a tree. The bird which perch on the lower branch is called the "lower bird" and the bird perching on the higher branch is referred as "higher bird".
This is a fascinating story of Aatman and Brahman and how they are connected to each other.
Also from this story we get our national motto - "Satyameva Jayate".

Very good efforts to reach the larger audience..... There has been a big gap in knowledge transfer for past few generations.....Many of the Sanatanis especially the next gen has no resources within reach but there is enthuisasm to know...... Great work. Please keep it up.
Beautiful Narration
I am very happy to find you
Very well done. Thank you. Please keep it up 🙏🏻
don't use distorted ai images to represent God
❤❤❤
Thank you again for another beautiful retelling from the Upanishads.
my pleasure. Please continue to listen to my channel. There are both audio and video based contents.
@@StoriesfromUpanishads Yes, I am studying the Upanishads with a teacher, and am slowly listening to all your videos to help with my studies. Many thanks.
❤❤❤
Amazing, we need more more UPANISHAD STORIES like this.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments.
Loved it sir
My pleasure, please continue to patronise my channel.
Can't u tell stories in hindi also
Yes, I can but will require some more effort to translate it and record in Hindi.
Beautiful
Thank you so much. Please listen to the other stories from my podcast
Very nice story !❤
Thank you so much
Your voice is fine. But it would be a great experience if it's in a base voice
thank will work on that.
As a non brahmin the story appears to re enforce the fact that Brahmins placed themselves above all others yet this caste began as nothing more than scribes recording events then expanded into religious thinking. Due to this being a brahmin story then it's best left for them alone ! Ironically the brahmin bull is used by whites who conquered all the Brahmins & others uses this bull to breed for meat to be consumed by them.
Sir, I think you have to understand Upanishads to the core, before you can comment like this. It is not about any caste specific., Upanishads were mainly formulated by a Guru (teacher) and what he told or taught his students. It was beyond any caste. It was pure knowledge of Brahman, and Aatman and how one can attain that path. Please listen to my podcast series "Stories From Upanishads"
Thank you for your beautiful narration! Take my Pranam!🙏🏿
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for sharing this knowledge with us. God bless you! Greetings from Brazil!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice
Thanks
Thought provoking lessons. Thanks for presenting them so nicely
Thank you so much.
Great story... Hate these Ai generated images for Hindu epics ... We have enough beautiful paintings why not use them ...😊
True Sir, I am an artist also and love hand drawn images over AI, but issue is that to create an episode with complete hand drawn sketches would take lot of time. AI is there to help us to produce faster (may not be the best) and efficiently. Idea is the story, as most of us are forgetting our past, our heritage and traditions. This is my small effort to restore that.
@@StoriesfromUpanishads great effort but misfitting illustrations take away the essence of a story especially that convey a spiritual message underneath
Aise stories hi actually main humare school main padhai jani chaiye
Thank you so much, please watch other stories from my podcast channel
Jai Sri Ram. Thank you for the English version.🙏
thank you so much
Nothing beats the enactment of Nachiketa story in "Bharat Ek Khoj" Doordarshan TV series.
true...I am also a fan of that to some extent.
Brilliant work, loved the narration! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! please see and listen to my other podcast in the series
~ The symposium of debates between scholars in King Janak's court (*dated antiquity) parallels with the origin of our universe and supporting scientific theories! “kham vayur jyotiraphah prithivi vishvasya dharini’ which means - the universe is borne (supported) by space (Kham), air (vayu), fire (jyoti), water (apah) and earth (prithivi). These elements reconnect us with the nature outside of us and help us to connect to our inner Self."
Thank you Soniya Sinha. This is quite insightful.
🙏 Om Shanti! thank you for the enlightening share..you find what your pursue! "Uttishatha Jagrata"
That is what is required in our country! Swami Vivekananda knew this long time back, again its high time we must abide by the teachings of Upanishads.
I just found your channel and with much anticipation I look forward to future episodes. Thank you for making the Upanishads accessible.
Thank you so much, I will continue to do so. Please follow for more updates
@@StoriesfromUpanishads 🙏 I subscribed, thank you
if nachiketa had died he wouldn’t need to eat or drink for three days and three nights he went physically to yama dharma raj which in itself is a stupendous deed like Savitri also went physically to yama dharma raj
How many deaths do u remember? Read about Shraads
I remember my parents, grand parents....but I dont understand your comment.
Which AI do you use bro?
Kind of combination of Microsoft CoPilot, Designer, sometimes mid journey, with editing using Garage Band for voice over and DaVinci Resolve for Videos
If you are telugu guy you can listen to chaganti's pravachanam on parasurama
I am bengali. but definitely look forward to that sir.
@@StoriesfromUpanishads hope you can find a good translator
Can you stop repeating "with folded hands "😅
Yes will mature with more and more scripts
Nice story .
Many many thanks
Excellent.
Many thanks!
what AI did you use to make the images ?
Kind of combination of Microsoft CoPilot, Designer, sometimes mid journey, with editing using Garage Band for voice over and DaVinci Resolve for Videos
Nice story and good work Thanks for bringing out story well
Thank you so much sir

Thank you so much.
Stop asking for reviews. UA-cam is this generation handyman.. ppl will review if content is good.. Between your voice needs to be low tone and should be a good story telling mode.. indeed yours is bossing way.. Anyways your AIs are good ..
thanks
ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ!!!
Dhanyavadagalu
Please don't use AI. Many images look very undesirable
then only way will be to use hand drawn images, although I am a good artist but it will take many days to complete something of this scale. Hence using AI as an alternative medium.
Nice presentations, Please also dub in Indian languages.
THank you maam for the suggestion.
Brahma came of Vishnu's navel???? Its all mythology, like Disney land!!!!!!!!!
Very well explained sir and beautiful story... ❤
Thank you so much sir
Sir ji it is kathoupanishad not katha upanishad
no sir, Kathaupanishad is sandhi of Kath Upanishad. Either you can call it as Kathaupanishad or Katha Upanishad, No errors in that,
This video is just nostalgic... ❤Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart who took this great initiative... Back in the days , when I was a little girl my Mumma used to tell me the stories of great Nachekita, Aaruni, Abhimanyu, Upamanyu etc. as bedtime stories....
Thank you so much, please continue to watch my other videos and podcasts
The word is NOT KATHA....IT IS KATO (OF COURSE WITH AN "HA" SOUND KEEPING "T" AS "T" AND "NOT THA".... SO IT IS KAT(H)OPANISHAD - NOT KATHAPANISHAD!!! "A" SOUND AND "U" SOUND BECOME "O" SOUND IN SANSKRIT!!!!!
Yes I understand that, thank you for pointing out. If in future I publish something else from Katopnisad I will mention this error.
Nice narration and graphics. धन्यवाद सर
Thank you
kathaa olde word for stories. makes it easier to teach dont it
Thank you
