I noticed that the base didn’t include any system for mounting the house to the base (bolts, etc). We live in a sometimes high wind area (have had on occasion 50 mph gusts) and I’m wondering what you recommend for that? Is the house heavy enough on it’s on not to slip off the brick base?

Need to be sure to sand the ends of the logs where holes (also need to be smooth inside) have been drilled. Bees won't use them if there's any chance of snagging & damaging their wings. FYI
