The sermon and the teachings are nothing but the truth,,the fear of the lord...some of us do not like hearing the truth they love dwelling in lies that favour their unrighteous character...And saying that this is the teachings of the old,,you become the first victim of foolishness for you to hear God speak in the bible and then you rationalise and say oh! That is the old testament that is the cheapest way for you to live as a slave even within the contest of the new testament...God is not limited he can speak from anywhere

Galatians 3 10 All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.” 16So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another. *If you say you want to prove your righteousness by living under the law, the Apostle says you are living under a curse. The law is not only a set of DON'Ts. It has a set of DOs. "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." "And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul." How many can boast that they have fulfilled the laws of loving and fearing God (which Jesus Christ interpreted to be worshiping God in the NT). If you are made righteous in Christ you are to live by faith not by works.* [7/18/2024 11:25 AM] James 2 "10 Whoever keeps the whole law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker." *Again. When one keeps all the laws of DON'Ts and they are incomplete in the DOs. The Apostle says they are still guilty of breaking the law. None is excusable* Romans 5 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. 20 The law came in so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. *The law was not given for man to meet up to God's standards. Rather it was given so that offences would abound and man would see his shortcomings and need for Jesus Christ. However, the grace that is usually said to be a license to sin is written to be what overpowers sin. Grace is superabounding even where sin abounds. Meaning much more. Grace does not make room for sin, it takes sin out of the room.* I Corinthians 15 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! *We would agree that death is a result of sin. However, can we agree that the strength of sin is the law. Because the more you try to perform, the more it reveals your incompetencies outside the finished work of Christ. I am not the one saying that, it is the Apostle. He goes further on this doctrine and I can bring other portions.* I Timothy 1:9 8Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately. 9We realize that law is not enacted for the righteous, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for killers of father or mother, for murderers, 10for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave traders and liars and perjurers, and for anyone else who is averse to sound teaching *As I addressed earlier, we need to know why the law was given. The law was never given for man to be able to achieve righteousness. It was not enacted for the righteous, rather for the sinner. So that they will see their flaws and find the need for Jesus Christ.* Hebrew 8 6Now, however, Jesus has received a much more excellent ministry, just as the covenant He mediates is better and is founded on better promises. 7For if that first covenant had been without fault, no place would have been sought for a second.... 13By speaking of a new covenant,c He has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear. *If man could attain righteousness by the works of the Law there would be no need for the covenant of Grace to be revealed. Just as Jesus Christ condemned sin in His flesh and fulfilled the righteous standards of the law, he has made the law obsolete. That we might live according to faith and walk in the Spirit. The righteousness through the Law of sin and death is ineffective because in our flesh dwells no good. The good that man wills to do he does not do enough.*

*Matthew 12:24‬* [24] But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. ‭*Matthew 12:31‬* [31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. *It not the godless who condemn Him. Those who claim a form of godliness, but deny the Christ. Their problem is not with God, but their problem is with Christ. It is an offense to tell one that the Christ has come to take away his sins when he believes he has no sins. He said those who speak against him as the ‘son of man’ can be forgiven, not ‘Son of God’. We know the Holy Spirit came to bear witness of Him being the Son of God just as much as He was the son of man to take away sins. The rejection and slandering of this purpose is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Every other sin can be forgiven except this sin of constant rejection of the Holy Spirit. Because that is the only way of salvation being rejected.* *Matthew 12* "38Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39Jesus replied, “A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41The men of Nineveh will stand at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now One greater than Jonah is here. 42The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now One greater than Solomon is here." *He called the pharisees a wicked and adulterous generation. To the common man they are righteous. He illustrated His death using the story of Jonah.* * Luke 7* "29All the people who heard this, even the tax collectors, acknowledged God’s justice. For they had received the baptism of John. 30But the Pharisees and experts in the law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John. 31“To what, then, can I compare the men of this generation? What are they like? 32They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to one another: ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’ 33For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ 34The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35But wisdom is vindicated by all her children.”" *The common sinners did not have problem in believing in Jesus Christ. Even one of the robbers and one of the centurions at the cross could later recognize He is the Christ. Even the soldiers sent to arrest Him knew He is different. Yet even after His death many of pharisees and self-righteous still rejected Him. Notice they accused Him of being a drunkard and glutton. A common sinner who has no business with righteousness does not see the problem with those sins. They accused Him again of associating with sinners instead of condemning and judging them unworthy.* *Luke 5:21* [21] And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? *We have another record of a man who through faith had his sins forgiven and received healing. The pharisees still had problem with the message of forgiveness of sin.* * Luke 7* 39When the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who this is and what kind of woman is touching Him-for she is a sinner!” 40But Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, Teacher,” he said. 41“Two men were debtors to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii,e and the other fifty. 42When they were unable to repay him, he forgave both of them. Which one, then, will love him more?” 43“I suppose the one who was forgiven more,” Simon replied. “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said. 44And turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? When I entered your house, you did not give Me water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not greet Me with a kiss, but she has not stopped kissing My feet since I arrived. 46You did not anoint My head with oil, but she has anointed My feet with perfume. 47Therefore I tell you, because her many sins have been forgiven, she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.” 48Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49But those at the table began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50And Jesus told the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” *A pharisee rebuked Him for associating with a sinful woman. This pharisee could not do the least of what this woman did. This is because he did not value Jesus Christ as much as she did. Jesus Christ told him a parable. Jesus Christ says he who is forgiven much loves much. We say that if we tell people all their sins are forgiven that they will love sinning more. That is contrary to scripture. Those who know their sins are forgiven love Him much because they know the length at which he demonstrated His love towards them. Jesus Christ told her that by her faith she has been saved on His account.* * Matthew 27* 38Two robberse were crucified with Him, one on His right hand and the other on His left. 39And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads 40and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross!” 41In the same way, the chief priests, scribes, and elders mocked Him, saying, 42“He saved others, but He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel! Let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in Him. 43He trusts in God. Let God deliver Him now if He wants Him.f For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44In the same way, even the robbers who were crucified with Him berated Him. *You said that the robber who repented did so because had knowledge of who Jesus Christ was. Here we have record of him initially mocking Jesus Christ. It was until he had an encounter of Jesus Christ's way of speech and actions.* * Matthew 21* "31Which of the two did the will of his father?” “The first,j” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you. 32For John came to you in a righteous way and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him." *The common sinners did not have problem in accepting Him. It was the pharisees and self-righteous.* *Luke 19* "5When Jesus came to that place, He looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry down, for I must stay at your house today.” 6So Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed Him joyfully. 7And all who saw this began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinful man!” 8But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will repay it fourfold.” 9Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”" *The pharisees were again offended that Jesus Christ was associating with sinful man who the expected to condemned and judged. We see that Jesus Christ says salvation has come to Zaccheus's house. Salvation is found in the name of Jesus Christ. We do not see a message of the terror of the Lord being preached for him to repent.*

*2 Corinthians 5* "18All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God. 21God made Him who knew no sin to be sinb on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." *It states that God's ministry today is that of reconciliation. Not the ministry of death and condemnation. The focus of this ministry is reconciling man to Himself. It is not a ministry of man trying to make up in order to reconcile with God. God reconciles man by NOT COUNTING MEN'S TREPASSES AGAINST THEM. This is contrary to the altar call that some say God is angry with the sinner till the day he repents. Our message as ambassadors for Christ is that of God appealing through us on Christ's behalf that sinners should reconcile back to God. Many people assume that preaching holiness and fear of God is preaching the Gospel. However, this is the good news (gospel): that God made Him who knew no sin to be our sin offering so that we can become the righteousness of God in Christ.* *Romans 8:1* [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set youb free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin.c He thus condemned sin in the flesh, 4so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 9You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alivee because of righteousness.‬ *Since Jesus Christ has dealt with sin in the flesh, we are to walk by, in and through the Spirit, not by the law of sin and death through the flesh. A believer has the Spirit of God in him and belongs to Christ. It is the revelation of being dead to sin in the flesh and alive to righteousness in the spirit by Jesus Christ that would make a believer reign over sin.* * Romans 2* "1You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on another. For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? 5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6God “will repay each one according to his deeds.”a * I told you these words were reserved for the pharisees and self-righteous fellows* ‭*John 8:24* [24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. *I told you these words were reserved for the pharisees and self-righteous fellows. He told they will die in their sins. That if they do not BELIEVE in Him being the I AM they will die in their sins. He clearly stated that the self-righteous would be the ones to crucify Him. Those that later believed, He told them they shall know the truth and the truth shall set them free. This truth message that sets the Jews free cannot be laws and judgments written in the books of Moses and the Prophets. The Jews already had knowledge of the terror of God. Who the Son sets free shall be free indeed, because His word abides in them.* ‭*1 John 2:1* [1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: *If you doubt the power salvation. Apostle John tells us that he writing that we do not sin. Still, if any man sin, he has an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. Jesus Christ is the propitiation for our sins and also the sins for the world. However, this propitiation can only be effective to those who are in Christ. Believers have the truth in them. The love of God is perfected in them. Believers are given a new commandment to follow. The darkness is past and the true light now shineth. He writes to little children that their sins are forgiven for Jesus Christ's namesake. If any man love the world the LOVE OF THE FATHER is not in him. He that does the will of the Father abides forever. Her critics are wrong. She's preaching about Fear of God, not salvation this time. eg Dwelling on Isaiah's experience! And John The revelator' experience ❤ You don't mix up topics. Salvation, and how we are saved by grace alone, is not the' full' gospel. It's the elementary. As Heb 6 said. We need to move to the gift of sanctification of heart, total surrender to Christ, healthy fear of God,, consecration, bearing our cross and still following Him, etc. She's not preaching salvation by works.., right now in this topic She's talking to Christians & leaders (not an EVANGELISM/evangelistic Billy Graham preaching crusade meeting) Synoptic gospel listed sins preached by Jesus. Paul himself listed sins in many chapters he wrote to churches. James did, Peter did. Etc Are we better preachers now than the APOSTLES' foundation? 😂. Jesus himself rebuked of sins many many times. He then gave power to go & sin no more. ** David Pawson said- if u fail to see God truly in these 3 right perspectives, you will have a wrong perspective of Him - self-deceived❌ 1. In the Gospels, Jesus was a Lamb (gentle) . 2. Epistles, He's Our High Priest, pleading for us. 3. In revelation, He's coming back as a Judge (the world better get ready, true Christians too will be judged, although differently) . *Matthew 12:24* [24] But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.*Matthew 12:31* [31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.*It not the godless who condemn Him. Because that is the only way of salvation being rejected.**Matthew 12* "38Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39Jesus replied, “A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 42The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and now One greater than Solomon is here."*He called the pharisees a wicked and adulterous generation. To the common man they are righteous. He illustrated His death using the story of Jonah.** Luke 7*"29All the people who heard this, even the tax collectors, acknowledged God’s justice. For they had received the baptism of John. 30But the Pharisees and experts in the law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, because they had not been baptized by John. 31“To what, then, can I compare the men of this generation? What are they like? 32They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to one another: ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’ 33For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ 34The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at this glutton and drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35But wisdom is vindicated by all her children.”"*The common sinners did not have problem in believing in Jesus Christ. They accused Him again of associating with sinners instead of condemning and judging them unworthy.**Luke 5:21* [21] And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?*We have another record of a man who through faith had his sins forgiven and received healing. The pharisees still had problem with the message of forgiveness of sin.** Luke 7*39When the Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who this is and what kind of woman is touching Him-for she is a sinner!” 40But Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, Teacher,” he said. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.” 48Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49But those at the table began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50And Jesus told the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”*A pharisee rebuked Him for associating with a sinful woman. Jesus Christ told her that by her faith she has been saved on His account.** Matthew 27*38Two robberse were crucified with Him, one on His right hand and the other on His left. Let God deliver Him now if He wants Him.f For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44In the same way, even the robbers who were crucified with Him berated Him.*You said that the robber who repented did so because had knowledge of who Jesus Christ was. Here we have record of him initially mocking Jesus Christ. It was until he had an encounter of Jesus Christ's way of speech and actions.** Matthew 21*"31Which of the two did the will of his father?” “The first,j” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you. 32For John came to you in a righteous way and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him."*The common sinners did not have problem in accepting Him. It was the pharisees and self-righteous.**Luke 19*"5When Jesus came to that place, He looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry down, for I must stay at your house today.” 6So Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed Him joyfully. 10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”"*The pharisees were again offended that Jesus Christ was associating with sinful man who the expected to condemned and judged. We see that Jesus Christ says salvation has come to Zaccheus's house. Salvation is found in the name of Jesus Christ. We do not see a message of the terror of the Lord being preached for him to repent.*

If you are made righteous in Christ you are to live by faith not by works.* James 2 "10 Whoever keeps the whole law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

I was in a meeting in 1990 where the pastor thought about parable, a smoke in that bible study lost appetite to smoke. Did you notice her emphasis is not on the finished work at calvary but sin.. Jesus judged satan, sin and sickness on the cross.. people may feel guilty for the moment but the more they hear about sin the more they go into boundage of sin because everyman becomes what they hear consistently.. as we look we are changed in the same image. If you hear about righteousness that's what you become ultimately

@@itajohn7574I am blessed by your response to the attempt to make light of the import of this exhortation. KNOWING THE TERRORS OF GOD, WE PERSUADE MEN. JESUS CHRIST preached six times more about hell than heaven. FEAR HIM, who is able to kill the body and the soul and cast both into hell. THE SUMMATION OF A MAN'S LIFE IS WHAT HE FEARED AND THE IDENTITY OF ANY MAN IS WHO HE FEARED. You don't know anyone until you know who he fears. When you fear God, He creates Himself in you.

Thank God for her life but she dwells only on sin, being legalistic. You may not like my comment but I can tell you I once spoke like that such that you can't hear me preach without making feel guilty but that's not God's perspective. Sin has been judged, sin has long its grip. We are asked to preach Jesus and Him crucified and preach sin as it were. Most religious people thing when you talk about sin is when you are preaching powerful message but that just religious sentiment.

A time for everything. Message is perfectly okay. Sometimes comfort, sometimes exhort, sometimes rebuke according to God's discerned need in that congregation. This type of messages are rather scarce. There has been too much frivolity of the world filtering into the church these days. Yeah, Sometimes Paul says to Titus, "Rebuke them sharply" Only if it becomes daily rebuke, then something is off.

Who made you the message judge? 2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12-13. Even Jesus preached hell fire more than every one of His disciples, he talks about hell more than he talks about heaven, why didn't He just concentrate on the beauty of heaven than the gloom of hell, oh thou that love His sheep more than He does.

@@mrmikepreacher If one is to preach, they must rightly divide the word of God. You can say Jesus Christ preached about hell and still do not identify the reason He spoke about hell. Ask yourself why He spoke about hell to certain people and not to other people who still repented. Zaccheus repented without hell being the main topic. The woman at the well repented with hell being the main topic. The thief at the cross accepted Christ without hell being the main topic. Those He spoke about hell to are the hypocritical, religious folks who had already reject the grace of God and were trusting in their own righteousness. I do not know if it is written in your Bible, but it is written in mine: THE *GOODNESS* OF GOD LEADS TO REPENTANCE/GOD'S KINDNESS LEADS YOU TO REPENTANCE. Romans 2 3So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? 5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. I would show you scriptures and you judge using these scriptures if the word has been rightly divided.

@@mintstudiodesign Ok, you're making selective arguments, picking and choosing points from the bible to feed your goodness narrative, however this is not the whole picture. This is the kind of picture the progressive Christians like to paint to justify a feel good, come as you are, postmodernist theological narrative. Yes, the goodness of God leads to repentance, but that doesn't take away from the truth of the gospel, for all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23. For God loved the world so He gave Jesus, whoever believes is saved, and whoever doesn't is CONDEMNED (Emphasis only just to make my point). This is a more balanced picture, man is evil and in need of a Saviour, God is good and he is the only one who can save, it doesn't mean His goodness doesn't lead to repentance. You argue Zacchaeus repented without the hell massage, is this claim from facts or emotionalism? What scripture supports this claim? Let's indulge this argument, Jesus has been going around, preaching and working miracles, His news had reached many places, there was no other encounter Zacchaeus had with Jesus except that first one as recorded in the bible in Luke 19, one can argue he had previously heard about Jesus which is why he was eager to meet him, no message was preached directly to Zacchaeus. For the woman at the well, Jesus from his message called out the woman's adultery of jumping from man to man and even living with a man who wasn't her husband, if this was a message preached to someone in your postmodern Church, you would call the preacher judgemental for speaking the truth. The thief on the cross was already condemned to death, Jesus did not preach to him, he must've known of Jesus and His message hence why he gave that testimony. Finally Jesus didn't only preach hell and kingdom message to only Pharisees or "the hypocritical, religious folks who had already reject the grace of God and were trusting in their own righteousness." in your words, if that were the case there was no reason for Him to preach to them because they would've already been condemned. His message was to a dying generation that needed saving, His popular sermon on the mount in Matthew 5:22; 8:12, or Mark 9:47-48, He was not preaching to Pharisees and religious leaders, but to a crowd and His disciples. The point of all this is, the message of the gospel is a balanced message, man is evil God is good, hell and heaven is real, life and death exist, the only way for man to be saved is through Jesus, without which, it is eternal damnation.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. Romans 6:15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not! John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.
