    LYRICS: I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus, Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true; I would tell you how He changed my life completely, He did something that no other friend could do. No one ever cared for me like Jesus, There's no other friend so kind as He; No one else could take the sin and darkness from me, O how much He cared for me. All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me, All my heart was full of misery and woe; Jesus placed His strong and loving arms about me, And He led me in the way I ought to go. No one ever cared for me like Jesus, There's no other friend so kind as He; No one else could take the sin and darkness from me, O how much He cared for me. Ev'ry day He comes to me with new assurance, More and more I understand His words of love; But I'll never know just why He came to save me, Till some day I see His blessed face above. No one ever cared for me like Jesus, There's no other friend so kind as He; No one else could take the sin and darkness from me, O how much He cared for me.

    I would question whether he is a closet Amillennialist. Everything he has done with his career has advanced the activity of Ernie Reisinger, who was a founding Reformed Baptist (Partial Preterist/Amill). Ernie Reisinger infiltrated the SBC deliberately to convert it to Calvinism. Mohler's wife came from his church.

    I was a member of a singing group from Riverside Baptist Church in S.C. in my 20's, and we traveled for a week or two on a van stopping at Churches in Alabama and Florida. This Church is one where we were invited to come and sing. That Sunday morning, we sung at Sunrise in this beautiful Church. Located in the balcony was a window or something that they told us to be sure to watch as the Sun came up. It was awesome! I will never forget those days. I am now much older, but praise God, love Him now more than ever.

    The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, the Universe is 13.5 billion years old. Dinosaurs roam the glove for 150 million years, they were extinct 65 million years ago. If your Book does not agree, means is not a revelation from any Deity. It's fiction.

    They are finding soft tissue in dinosaur remains, they are finding red blood cells in dinosaurs, these are less than 10,000 years old by admissions of their secular researchers who are being ignored, or silenced. They have found pottery from Inca, Aztec, Peruvian civilizations depicting remarkable etching and art work of dinosaurs with man interactions. 1000s of artifacts around the world showing dinosaurs in most cultures. Science needs to be reinterpreted to match the bible, and not the lies of dishonest scholars who have anti-God agenda.

    He asks why God would have billions of years before the short time man is on the earth. God is outside of time. There is no billions of years from God's perspective. Also Romans specifically says death came to all MEN when Adam sinned. Animals are not mentioned. Many many old earth teachers and adherents believe in the inspiration of scripture, inerrancy of scripture, Creation of everything ex nilho, by God. They reject evolution, Adam and Eve where created and placed in a garden. Old earth can be reconciled with scripture very well.

  • @FourKnown
    @FourKnown 6 років тому

    Why would animals die after the fall? MEN sinned, so men had to die. For the world to look old according to every scientific discipline but not be old, it would make Romans 1:20 false. I do not believe God is capable of lying and deceit. I do wish it was mandatory at Bible colleges to take a significant number of science courses to give brothers like you some appreciation for the accuracy and self-correcting nature of science. Could it be that we may be not understanding the correct interpretation of God's word??? You are correct in saying it requires humility here. None of us has all the answers, but my prayer is that through humility God's people will all be about God's truth, which is all truth, even if discovered by scientists.

    • @Acrosurge
      @Acrosurge 4 роки тому

      It seems to me that if science needs to self-correct over time, then it is not a method that we can trust in to bring us absolute truth. We have no way of knowing whether current theories may be proven false by additional evidence. Why would we use a changeable standard to interpret God's Word? This would necessitate reinterpreting God's Word every time Science uncovers additional evidence.

The 'word' is, is that such ideas did not exist until the Schofield bible and it's interpretations came out, but search it out for yourself, it's out there. How would you feel if you were still alive on his return and were stuck for another 1000 years on this planet? UGH.

      To be resurrected in a glorified, immortal body by Christ and to reign with Him on Earth for a thousand years, an era in which Satan is no longer here (Rev 20), wouldn't be so bad. Quite the contrary, we've never experienced a life so good!

      Actually premillennialism has been around ever since the beginning of the Church. Most of the earliest Church Fathers believed in it. Hence the name, "Historic Premillennialism". The Dispensational variety of premillennialism is new, but most reformed people reject that view. And also, as Stephen Otto said, everyone will be on this earth forever after Christ returns, but this earth will be renewed and perfected.

    • @undergroundpublishing
      @undergroundpublishing 9 місяців тому

      You should educate yourself and stop listening to hearsay. The entire church was premillennial until Origen mixed Neo-Platonism with Christianity and taught a reincarnation-based universalism. Read his "First Principles" if you doubt what I am saying. He castrated himself and taught that we were fallen angels trapped in human flesh, and that the mature did not procreate. Within 100 years, his disciples tried to force all clergy in the Roman empire to be celibate, and including the married cleargy. That's the inventor of Amillennialism. Papias, who was taught by two of the seventy, and Phillips daughers, was Premil. He knew Polycarp, who knew John personally. Irenaues, who was mentored by Polycarp, was Premil. Hippolytus of Rome, who wrote the first commentary on Daniel, and the first treatise on the Antichrist, was also Premil. These men read exactly like a mid-trib dispensationalist. All of them wrote between 130 and 220 AD. When you promote Amillennialism, you promote Neoplatonism and Dominionism. It's that simple. Everything wrong with the RCC is based in these doctrine.

    I appreciate Al Mohler stating up front that he does not know exactly how to answer this question. I love him as a brother and appreciate so much he does for the Kingdom; but he is so wrong on this issue. That being said, it is not even a secondary issue, but it is a tertiary issue. Biblical OEC take Scripture just as literally as YEC. This same level of debate occurred about whether or not the sun or the earth revolved around each other, and now that is no longer even considered to be debatable. Most Christians and scientists took the day’s standard position of a geocentric stationary earth. The Psalms say that God fixed the earth upon its foundations so that it should never move, and other such passages could draw the reasonable conclusion of a fixed earth with a sun moving around it. It was considered the most natural reading of the text and those who challenged this geo-centric view were challenging the authority of Scripture. Centuries earlier, it was the flat earth discussions. Neither clarifications of these two erroneous positions challenge the veracity and truth of Scripture. They have only been clarified. The same will eventually happen with the YEC v OEC debate when OEC is finally accepted as compatible with Scripture, just as the earth revolving around the sun is now accepted, as controversial as that was a few centuries ago.

    • @1969cmp
      @1969cmp 6 років тому

      If OEC are just as literal as YEC, which is Biblical creation, what do OEC make of the creation 'week'. 6 x 24 hour Yoms?

      @@1969cmp Most would say that the seven days are actually metaphors for periods of time. There is a prophecy the book of Daniel that said the Messiah would come in 72 weeks. But the Messiah did not come in 72 weeks, so unless you want to say the prophecy is wrong then you have to say A. the weeks are not literal weeks, or B. the prophecy isn't about Jesus. But I have never, ever heard someone try to make that case. Instead we all agree that option A. is true. The weeks were not literal weeks. Is there any, even one exegetical reason the 'days' in Genesis can't be metaphors? I don't know of any.
